I stopped by Bon Thai Food truck today while they were parked near the Walmart Supercenter in Harrodsburg. This little food truck is a hidden gem.
Everything is made fresh to order, and the food came out piping hot and flavorful. I ordered the spring rolls and the tomyam with noodles and beef. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, and the tomyam broth had the perfect balance of tangy, savory, and spicy flavors. Everything was so so hot but so so good.
The total was around $22, which felt like a great value considering the portion size and quality. I actually had enough for both lunch and dinner and shared some with my husband when I got home. The owners running the food truck were very attentive and helpful.
If you’re in the area and craving delicious Thai food that’s fresh, affordable, and made with care, I definitely recommend stopping by. I’ll absolutely be coming back to try more items on the menu! There isn’t much of an area to sit near by, but it comes quickly and you can take it to go with you.

Tried this place when passing through, and wasn't expecting one of the best meals I've ever had! Tom yum noodles were heavenly and the couple running it are lovely! Will definitely be stopping next time I'm in the area.

I ordered the pineapple fried rice and my husband got the pad thai, both dishes where so delicious. Great flavor and beautiful presentation. They obviously use high quality products.
I can't wait to try more and would recommend this to everyone.
Not to mention just how nice the owners are.
The family that runs this Thai food truck are always incredibly nice. The food is always fantastic when I get it and they always serve it as soon as they can get it out, even when that means the cold and rain. Highly recommend!

The food at Bon Thai is authentic Northern Thailand cuisine. I had my go to meal, Penang Curry with Chicken extra spicy and it was: Absolutely delicious!
I spent several months in Thailand and I am always looking for authentic Thai food and I am so lucky to have found Bon Thai! (and the fact they are located in Harrordsburg is super convenient for me as well).
I cannot wait to try everything else they have to offer!
