King Donuts was close to our house rental during a trip to Centre College. Long Johns were filled with cream so my husband brought back chocolate iced for me and my son. I've had my sugar fix for the day!
Open early! Wonderful breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and iced coffees. All the national brands that come to mind when thinking of these items are outdone by this family run gem. I understand from locals this place closes when the pastries are gone, go early, go often, you won't be sorry.

We lived in Louisville and had access to some of the finest German influenced bakeries in the midwest. Many retired from the business and closed through the years. We moved to Mercer Co and were ecstatic to find Kings' Donuts. This place is the match for any top of the line bakery anywhere. Top marks for quality, freshness, and price.
