We were seated fast and waitress took order fast. Food was below average. Baked potato was cold and old. Steak tips were on the tough side. Pilly Cheesesteak was bland and dry. But the biggest concern was pizza. We did not get it until the rest of the party had eaten. Very disappointed with food.

Had to wait over an hour to get food and it was not cooked to order....put a bandage on it and it would of come back to life and was ordered well done...5 steaks all not done...order Mac and cheese they were out ....two in our party didn't get food ...waitress had to go reorder it...she was in tears....we didn't get refills because they were out of ice....workers just standing around ...table beside us waited over two hours and their food was not right...they just got up and left...terrible terrible terrible...felt so sorry for waitress....she tried but didn't have support after order was taken...

Everything we ordered tonight was so good! The BBQ pork rinds and queso 10/10. Catfish bites 10/10. BBQ sampler 10/10. Also, our hilarious server Zoe 10/10.

We were traveling through Hazard on our way back north. Looking for a BBQ option but were pleasantly surprised they also have a coal fired pizza oven. Our waitress Paige was awesome; one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. She was forthright on a lot of helpful information and super responsive and friendly. We ended up ordering a pulled pork plate and a small pizza to share and loved both. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to go there as our first choice if ever in the area again.

We participated in a baby shower and the restaurant looked very nice. Clean and well serviced. The catering was great with a variety of snacks appropriate for the event. If I were in the neighborhood I would stop in for a bite.

First time eating here and will eat here again if I am traveling through Hazard, KY. Great casual bbq spot. The atmosphere was very casual and low-key. I highly recommend it. The waitress provided us with a great dining experience. She was very friendly and helpful. My wife tried the bbq platter with coleslaw and potato salad. I enjoyed the brisket with sweet potato fries and pineapple casserole. The food was extremely tender and well seasoned. The ribs on my wife's plate were fall off the bone tender. Great bbq place!!

Wedding reception in party room. Supposed to accommodate 60 I think but it was tight for 49. Did a nacho bar and chicken was completely white boiled pulled chicken no seasonings at all, taste was not good at all, disappointed considering the overall price. Server refilled our chips after all the food was gone which wasn't enough to feed everyone even though the qoute was for enough people. It may have been enough but while I was trying to constantly assist the crowd in serving to control portions the servers were constantly in there yelling who needs drinks?!

Paid for lots of tea and lemonade and servers never even allowed people to get food or drinks before taking drink orders also leaving me with paying for lots of unused tea and lemonade. Asking one server for a to go option on the gallons of drinks I paid for and they said they don't have anything to take it to go but then seen staff leave with bags of tea and lemonade.

Was also only given one hour to set up right before the wedding and room wasn't fully clean after the party before. Balloons and trash left under tables. Lots of items left behind, a tote, some clothing, a wallet, and a few other items. Called the store they said everything was prob thrown away but it felt so chaotic it was easy to leave things behind.

I wouldn't do it again and after paying 600.00 for our meal that wasn't up to the standards I'd expect from a BBQ place I likely won't return.

Went for my birthday a few weeks ago. Food was as low tier as you could get. "Brisket melt" was an oversized, extremely dried out bun with a few much smaller and equally as dry lunch meat slices advertised as brisket when it seemed more like meat taken out of a $4 pack from Kroger. Baked potato was small and very basic, no more than a slather of butter and some salt. My high school lunches were way more enjoyable on a daily basis than whatever this was. Very underwhelming and disappointing for trying something "new." Also left pretty hungry after my "meal." Something home cooked would've outdone this ten-fold. Also, waiter dude never came back to check on us AT ALL for the duration of our stay. He stayed towards the front with the rest of his coworkers the entire time. Very poor service on top of legitimately the poorest excuse for a meal I've ever had at any "fine dining" establishment in my life. I'm 100% sure it'll be closed down next time I'm in town anyway.

Honestly I didn’t have high expectations when I came here in the first place. I ordered a stake med. well and when it arrived it was freezing cold, I bit into it and freezing cold blood gushed into my mouth almost making me vomit on the table. The frozen French fries and cheaply made “homemade chips” were a complete joke. I could make better food at my house than this place, the service was slow, young, and clumsy. I feel bad for whoever comes in next. This was DISGUSTING I will NEVER come back to this joke

Absolutely amazing last night...the two ladies serving us did a fantastic job! The BBQ Sampler was off the hook! They made us feel welcome and did not hesitate to keep our drinks flowing, the humor was awesome! Whenever I'm back in Hazard, this will be a regular stop! Thanks ladies for the fantastic food and great time!

My son and I visited the Big Blue, and it was a good experience. I had the BBQ platter with ribs, pulled chicken, and pulled pork. The portions were big, and most of it tasted good. The ribs may have been a little overcooked, but that's BBQ...? I also got the salad bar, which is the best in town.
My son got the pepperoni pizza and the chicken bites, and he left very happy!
We had a great waitress, and everyone was friendly.
I'm looking forward to our next visit.
