“La Pena continues to hit it out of the park for me. They have consistently amazing Carnitas and this weekend we discovered the Birria Pizza which was a giant quesadilla with killer Verde Salsa and Au Jus to dip in.”

“back in Hazard a few days and we stopped in. Good food but more then that I want to mention the crew at this location is great. We are in a time were people are no so friendly anymore. Can I tell you its refreshing to see hospitality in action at this location.Keep making the good food and good work here folks...”

“Ordered takeout from Panda Inn and it was good. The Szechuan Chicken and Vegetable Lo Mein are pictured together. We also had the fried dumplings. It's safe to say we will be ordering again from them soon. Reluctant to give 5 stars after one visit.”

“The employee who made my food was super nice and friendly. Smiled the whole time he worked. His name tag said "timothy" it was nice to see someone smiling and enjoying their job. I was there on my lunch break and it was very crowded...but he was friendly and greeted each customer. Food was good too!”

“When You are a server please don't tell your customer you are prepared to take care of them cause it is an unexpected crowd. Take a breath say a prayer it will be just fine. Having people to leave the restaurant without getting services and having their plans changed”

“This is one of the best pizza places around. There is not a menu on their item that is not enjoyable. All of their food is good, and they get everything out in a reasonable time. Personally, my favorite is the Philly cheese steak sub. But don't discount their chicken wings or any of their sides.”

“As a Seattle native, coffee is more important than air. It's serious business back home and competition is fierce. Having moved to Eastern Kentucky, finding quality coffee is a real challenge. Most places make up for poor quality with drinks so sweet the coffee itself is lost. Luckily, Hazard Coffee Company nails it. Quality roasts, friendly environment, and great baristas. I've even stopped ordering my whole beans from cross country and am happy to just pick up their own roasts for my espresso. That's just about the biggest compliment I think I can offer. I'm excited to see where they go with their own roasts and hope to see them continue to expand their offerings.”

“Ate at Rudy’s for lunch today and the apple butter Turkey melt was AMAZING!!!! Further, the pasta salad you get as a side was so fresh and flavorful all for a great price. Highly recommend going here if you get a chance.”

“Stopped in to get some sandwiches for lunch on our way back to the house after shopping and hitting the flea market. The sandwiches were good and everything was fresh.”

“The food is good as always. The fish is a classic if you like that but the chicken is appetizing as well. The reason I only gave 3 stars for the atmosphere is because it's so small. Other than that it's a charming little place. All in all I do recommend eating here.”
