It’s Eastern Kentucky hibachi, simple and plain. I wish the vegetables were larger or at least more plentiful when I get takeout. If you like food trucks: chicken, noodles and rice you’re in luck. The yum-yum sauce is average, usually very thin or runny. The restaurant does have tables and a fountain machine (Pepsi) so you can 100% dine in, but it’s order at the counter and wait (as it should be). I’ve never been unsatisfied with their food, I just wish for a little more flavor and veggies.

I had heard all kinds of hype about how good the hibachi was at jrs so I got my mother in law to pick me up the chicken and rice plate and when I tell you it was gross I mean it. I've had many different hibachi before from different restaurants and all of them was nothing like this, honestly slop, dried out overcooked chicken and you could taste the dirty grill in it.. and the rice was just white rice loaded down with soy sauce. The yum yum sauce tasted like mayonnaise and sugar water 🤮 1/10 do not recommend! Very disappointing.

RAW CHICKEN/UNDERCOOKED RICE This is the most disgusting and foul tasting slop that is served in all of Appalachia. I was served rice that was not cooked even a little bit, mixed in with rice that was stuck together and downright goopy. I was also served chicken that was either so dry it couldnt be ate or raw and totally uncooked in the middle. Just terrible. There are too many hard working people in Perry County running LEGIT restaurants that do so much good, it is a shame to allow this filth to continue to operate. Straight slop. If you care about your loved ones, don't let them eat from this restaurant. This places needs to be investigated by the health department after what they tried to sell to me.

I attempted to try the food on their food truck in Manchester KY. I ordered a chicken hibachi. My chicken was undercooked but I couldn't tell until I took a bite because the grill was black from lack of cleaning. All My meals (I bought 5 for the family) were in the same shape. The meat was undercooked and covered with leftover black particles from the grill. My rice was okay but the noodles were slimy. More so than traditional noodles. It's like they sat for a while before being bought. I only ate a small piece from a spot on My first piece of chicken. That alone with the noodles was enough to make Me sick. I ended up not feeling well the rest of the day. All the items inside the truck looked gross. The coolers with the food were sitting outside the truck on the pavement until someone went to fetch whatever was needed. Unsure of their quality/ state. Overall in the beginning I was excited. I heard great things about the food. I was more than disappointed. I hope they clean the truck tools/items and have better prepared food in the future.

I love eating this food, but this last time the steak was a little tough and I got the top end of the carrot(with the greenery) that should have been thrown away. I know mistakes happen because I cook for my large family and this is the first time it has happened, so I will let it slide. They were fantastic at the Harlan Walmart, which they always are, but I still have to post honest reviews.....and no I am not getting paid for these reviews.

I have been living next to the building for 3 months however my first experience was at a Walmart in Whitesburg Kentucky their travel truck was located outside . This is where I received my first order my rice was cold however my noodles and shrimp was hot and very delicious. I explained to them that I live next door to their building while I was here but always seem to miss arriving on time for dinner. So the individual informed me that the Building closed Early during the week That's why I was missing it right next door however on the weekends they stay open longer So the next week I went to the building next door Ordered my food. This time my food was over salty The Taste and seasoning was delicious however it was just too salty and my shrimp had been burnt however the customer service is excellent the people were very very nice, and the food Portion was plenty actually it was more than enough
