Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

For starters I would like to say I love Lee's. However my most recent experience was horrible. I was passing through and decided to stop here. It was about 7-7:30 so it was already almost dark and when I pulled up the drive thru menu wasn't lit up and I couldn't read it. I had to Google the menu and then decide what I wanted. Fast forward a bit and I finally got my food. The chicken was gross, it tasted like the oil it was fried in hadn't been changed in months and thats all I could taste. My potato wedges were wet. How? Not just a couple. All of them. With my order ruined to this point I had lost all hope but I still tried my biscuit. Good job, you got something right. The rest of my food I fed to a stray cat that was outside. And to be honest I felt bad for cat. I want to see better from Lee's in the future. It'll be a long time before I come back but I hope it's better when I do. For now I'll just buy chicken from the shell attached to the front of the building.

I’m a frequent customer of Lees in Hazard. Yesterday, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it had a couple of long hairs in it, I understand places get busy, but hair just ain’t it.

I will be the first to admit this wasn't on my radar, but after a couple visits.... I figured out that they have really good chicken fingers, with even better dipping sauces (chipotle ranch), coleslaw, and awesome potato wedges that I didn't know existed until a couple weeks ago. The chicken fingers are always big so and order of 3 is plenty.

Got the hot honey chicken biscuit. Was still dry. Which I could have got more sauce. Walked in to see about breakfast. Took me forever to realize the breakfast menu was posted somewhere I didn't see it. Probably won't visit again for breakfast hours not my preference. I would have ordered livers at 8am if I could haha

Fried chicken that didn't make me sick, so rare a find. This means no msg or aspertame in the extra crispy chicken!
