Some people would call it a dive restaurant, I call it family it's the type of restaurant where everyone knows everyone but I'm a newcomer and I'm treated like family the food is phenomenal good portions great flavor. I've only in the morning so far and the morning cook is phenomenal and the server is spectacular.

I had an outstanding experience at Bangies. The breakfast was delicious and made with care. The staff was very kind and courteous. I did not realize they are cash only until my food was already served. To my suprise, they let me finish my meal without any rush even though it was getting close to closing time and then leave to find an atm to then come back and pay. I even ordered food to go before paying and by the time I came back the food was ready. This place and their staff has restored a bit a faith in humanity. Come here to Bangies and come back often.
Parking: There is a spacious parking lot. I parked my semi (without trailer) and there was still room for a few more semi trucks in addition to 10 or so cars and trucks that were already parked.

Excellent food and excellent service. Beyond good diner food. Biscuits and gravy and pancakes were delicious. The eggs and sausage were prepared very well. By the way, the biscuits are homemade and the coconut crème pie that I carried out was the best. Everyone was so friendly and I will always want to stop here when we travel south in the mornings! Thanks to all of you who make this restaurant all that it is!

This has got to be the absolute best mom and pap diner. The food is absolutely delicious. If there were a perfect outcome to a prepared food, these folks have it down. I told them before, "is it an insult if I tell you that it's starting to upset me how great your food is every single time." Of.course they replied "not at all". Get to Bangies.

Stopped in here on our way home. Place was busy with losts of older gentlemen sitting around having coffee and talking. That country community kitchen feel that we look for when traveling.My husband and I had the farmers breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, over medium and over easy. Everything was absolutely seasoned perfectly. If we are ever in this area again we will be back. Just know its cash or check only.

YUM!We ordered the hamburger and philly steak sandwich to eat there, and a full fried chicken with lots of sides to go.Best fried chicken we have ever had. I have used Martha Stewarts recipe to make her buttermilk fried chicken which was pretty darn good, but my husband and I felt that Bangies Chicken was better. Not greasy at all. Super tender and moist with the tastiest outer spicy crust you ever had.Lots of other nice locals were in the shop when we were there and one waitress kept us all happy. She was amazing.Highly recommend.
