“I would recommend them because their food is great however I have tried all afternoon to place a to-go order and can’t get through. At first I thought they might be having phone issues but the last couple of calls you can clearly hear the restaurant noise in the background and then they hang up on me.”

Water street i recommended everything but the loaded Mac & the loaded baked potato is so good u will be back for it again ~Blake H”

“WOW!!! Tried Yum Yum for the first time last night on my way through after picking up my dog from the vet in Owensboro. This is THE BEST Chinese food in the tristate area by far & we will definitely be making the drive from Mount Vernon to eat here again!! You all are awesome!! And super friendly ❤️”

“For many years I’ve eaten at Rookies. Their steaks are top notch. A few weeks ago we ordered the pork chop. I’ve never had a pork chop melt in my mouth. It was the best pork chop I’ve ever had. I’m sure most know this. Great job Rookies!!”

“The food here is great but the customer service is awful. If you pick up at the window the lady that usually works it practically throws it out the window at you. And God forbid you ask for anything after she’s handed you that bag. They left some thing out of my order because new management said it was no longer OK to make substitutions. I don’t have a problem with that but when I asked if it was too much to ask for a call to inform me of that before picking up my order, I was told they were too busy. The People I spoke with were very rude and disrespectful. One lady set the phone down in the middle of me trying to talk to her and didn’t pick it up for two minutes. The food is great but it’s not worth the mistreatment that comes with it.”

“Delicious food! My husband had the bone in elk chops with blueberry chutney & asparagus. I had the bbq-bacon flatbread with Thomasons bourbon bbq sauce, plus we had salad and an appetizer. The Old Fashioned’s were perfect, food was perfect, service was great, along with the atmosphere (beautiful bar). Love this little gem in my hometown! Highly recommend!”

“I tried this place today on the recommendation of a friend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The drink sizes were surprisingly large and more reasonably priced than coffee chains. Next time I am in Henderson, I will make it a point to come back here!”

“My brother sister in law and myself ate here 7/15/24 . It was honestly the best Mexican meal I ever had . Wouldn’t have changed one thing about it . I simply ordered chicken cheese and every vegetable the kitchen has to cook . They even kept my leftovers for me since it was 97 degrees outside and we was going walking I was worried it would spoil . Picked it up after our walk . Our waitress was the sweetest young lady ever. Thank you all so much”

“I LOVE their Coney dog when it's made right. Who ever made it the first time made it perfect with the right amount of chili and cheese. The next time I had it the toppings were so scarce I could pick the hot dog up. The chili is really good (I'm really picky about chili), cheese bites are tasty and my boyfriend loves their burgers.”

“First time here deliver bulk load of rice meal was a little confusing as to where to go. In the evening you scale yourself in at the office bld. Then pull ahead off the scales and turn left. Go behind the buildings and make a right at the concrete barriers to make a loop around the parked trailers and then drive back to the front entrance near the guard shack. The bulk shed is next to the blue silos. Then rescale to get empty weight. Nice place to unload.”

“We usually like Fazolis, however we stopped yesterday to try the subs. Me and my husband got the Italian sub. $10 a piece. We got home and tried to eat them but they were so spicy we couldn’t. We both like spicy. But for one it didn’t say it was spicy, and for 2 it was entirely too spicy. They should advertise if it’s spicy! My daughter got the club, and it only had meat and cheese on it. That’s not what the picture showed. Waste of $30!!! Do better!!!”

“The local Henderson pizza place everyone enjoys. Gets really load when full and service is usually good but slower. The pizza is a thin crust crispy throughout the small 2” square slices. They also have several other good things on the menu, the Stromboli is bussin’ too!

“I have been going here since I was a child. Nacho has always been so kind, thorough, and welcoming. The food is delicious, service is usually great considering the small staff, and the decor is bright and authentic. Hands-down my favorite Mexican restaurant in town.”

“Overall typically fast service, friendly and polite workers, and no problems really but they can be slow at times. The drive through can get backed up easily. Also, one morning that I actually went in, there were a ton of people who ordered in advance just standing around waiting in the store for their orders, even though there were a bunch of completed orders sitting on the counter. I hadn’t ordered in advance but was waiting for like 20 minutes, and some of the people in there had been waiting before me. I had somewhere to be so I had to cancel my order and leave, but I heard from a friend who had ordered in advance that he waited for an hour. I think this was a particularly busy morning as it was Kentucky’s Election Day, but I think they needed a better system that day to handle all the business!”

“The Dariette is one of the very few soft ice cream places left. Their burgers, while small but thick, are delicious. We stop there for food or ice cream about once a week. Great burgers and great soft serve ice cream!”
