Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I got the Chicken fried Chicken and the chicken was hard n dry and barely any white gravy was given this is the second bad meal I've got at the Henderson Cracker Barrel n I won't be returning i could have gotten alot better meal at the Sonic next door!
It was also very cold in the restaurant too.

Was vary cold was told it was 60 degrees, also was told Manger finally turned off air conditioner but was afraid to turn on heat ,for fear of getting to hot ,also was told they were out off wood but when I left I saw some coverd not much but enough for a fire, most a a large percentage of customers are elderly, please do better .

We had a fabulous waitress last night! She checked in on us and was super sweet. She is the perfect example of customer service. I was there with my parents and daughter. We all ordered those Oreo/Strawberry cheesecake filled pancakes and they were so yummy. My daughter was still talking about them when we got home. Thank y'all so very much for being there for my family!

Portion size has gotten smaller, price has gotten higher & some items have disappeared off the menu. We now go there because its one of a few choices where we live. You ask for a large tea to go & you want to charge extra, like $3+ isn't enough for a glass of tea. I have $43 left on a gift card. After that CB will for me personally, be one of my last choices just like Tumbleweed has done.

So disappointed! The portion size of green beans, corn, apples were sad. Huge carry out tray made it worse. 3 Apple slices, couple of tablespoons of the other stuff for $12.87 + fees and tip. Prices up and portions very small. Management said it is corporate. They literally have to count the number of carrots, fries, etc. How are people feeding their families?

The place was pretty busy during our visit. Our main food was hot but our sides warm only close to warm. They were not cold but far from hot. I will say we had the best waitress. Been here several times and can't say it has ever been a bad experience.

5 star all around she waited on us hand and foot. Never let drinks go empty or plates in the way. All with a smile my kids loved carrying on with her and drawing her pictures. Amberly is awesome!!
