The Metzger's burger was juicy. The Metzger's House Beer was tasteful. Not the old Metzger's, the new ownership has a great classic family atmosphere. So glad we stopped in. It's a must see, one of the best dive bars in the U.S.

You forgot my freaking pretzel bites and it was like one of the first things I even ordered and the only thing I really wanted and they not only forgot didn’t even make them at all and we had to go back down there and wait even longer for them to complete our order then on top of that all I ordered was a double cheeseburger with JUST fried onions and you messed that up by putting extra stuff on my burger! pretzel bites and beer cheese and a double cheeseburger with just fried onions! What is so freaking hard about making a double cheeseburger with just fried onions?! Explain?! I could do without the incompetence. I will not be back! I thought you were suppose to be better than the average fast food chains around here and you’re just as incompetent as the local McDonald’s. Wish I could give negative stars.

Awesome historic tavern. Kayla provided great service and casual conversation for a weary traveler. Food was hot and delicious. The pretzel bites with icing and vanilla ice cream were lethal! SO GOOD. THANKS FOR A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!
