Wow, just WOW. What to say about this place. It really doesn’t matter what you order, it’s all amazing.
On this occasion, I grabbed a couple of their sampler platters (for me and my dad) to-go. I got the chip, ribs, and pork, along with potato salad, slaw, and of course, their legendary baked beans.
My dad looked over at me in mid-bite during my chip session and said, “Yep, I told you!”
Needless to say, my fam and I are huge fans.

Fantastic pulled pork and unique sauce. Reasonable prices. Probably even better by the pound because the bottom bun gets to be a soggy mess. Others are right, owner is kind of a jerk but the food overcomes it.

Thomason's Barbecue is the best in Henderson. Their barbecue beans are outstanding. There is nothing fancy about the small eating area, but the folks are friendly, and the pork, mutton, and chicken are first-rate!
I recommend that you buy the bbq beans. I’m just saying that when you take a bite that your tongue will slap the back of your mouth. Plus you will love everything that they cook. The pork and beef and the chicken are finger lickin good. The more I type the hungrier I get.
Chicken was dry as your grandmas skin , the “BBQ” was soooooo plain it was just terrible tbh… but why the banana pudding was on point !

Was craving some KY mutton so stopped in on my way to Tennessee. Had the sampler plate with mutton, chip, and pork. All 3 were excellent but the mutton and chip YUMMY! Baked beans were good, potato salad so-so.
It’s a no-frills small joint but there is parking and a few tables inside. Plasticware and RC cola so if you’re a spoiled diva this place probably won’t make you happy lol.
I’d come back and eat here anytime.
