Any place that smashes their burgers with a brick trowel gets an A+ 100% from me! I don't know how in the world these people manage to work so hard and still treat their customers friendly as if we're family as well. Highly recommend the cheeseburgers with fries and an ice cold bottle of Ski! I will say it again, I know it must be tough and stressful working as hard as they do.. but when it comes to customer service, they really put their inner feelings aside and treat you special! I really respect everyone in this establishment. Regardless of what anyone is going through, they provide high quality service and great tasting food every single time! I did not want to fail to give each one of these fine people the recognition they deserve! I will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in Hodgenville and they are open! I live towards Hardinsburg, but Laha's Red Castle is worth the trip everytime!

Stopped here visiting the Abraham Lincoln Boyhood home on the way to Louisville. Saw them featured on TrueSouth. Owner was great and easy to converse with and the staff was great. Not to mention, the burgers were to die for. Will be back again when traveling in that area!
Very small place so we took our food to go, it was fast friendly and efficient....food was good. We were treated like they had known us all our lives...1 individual with me thought it was the best burgers they had ever eaten. Quite a compliment from a junk food junkie! Yes!
