Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Very nice people but my mother and I ordered the gizzard meal and they were so very hard you couldn't even eat them. The restaurant appearance was also dirty. Place has went down since we've last visited.

When I got home, the chicken and livers were very hot and delicious . Their biscuits were soft and still very warm. Their coleslaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, is still awesome tasting. It was drive-thru service, so there was very little interaction with the cashier.

The food was delicious.
The atmosphere was great, the music was old country music which my kids love.
The sweet southern lady Brenda at the counter was so nice and sweet. She checked on us multiple times during our visit.

Baked beans were really sweet. Fried chicken was tender and mouth watering. It's definitely worth a 2nd visit.

This Lee's only serves fish on Friday and the popper dinner I ordered tasted and looked like they had been sitting around for a while.

My family and I come here almost every Friday or Sunday for their fish. Its the best. HOWEVER this time the fish was under cooked and I simply asked if I could get it cooked a little longer. The cashier closing being a manager very rudely snacltched the tray and stormed off while taking the rest of my families order. The To-Go young lady said she was so sorry. My kids then stepped away from the counter and my daughter in law who has social anxiety didn't want to order anything at that point. ALSO while placing our order my husband wanted fried okra as a side. She said it was an add on, I asked her can please add it on she said I can't. I said I don't mind paying for it for extra charge. She said select a side. I have to put a side in first then I can add it on. We were fine with that. But her tone the whe time was extremely u professional. I'll be driving to Bardstown from here on out and sharing my experience with my local friends and family. I run a business myself and would be out of business if I acted this way. Kicker is she is one of the managers.
Sounds like some training or a refresher course on customer service needs to be taken.

Ordered two individual sides and a large . the macaroni salad was more of a mini and still charged regular price. the girl working drive thru had a fateful attitude and interrupted me after everything asking if that would be all. probably won’t be back

Went by Friday night and picked up some spicy wingettes for my wife. She order the 12 wingettes. After we got she showed me her order. The chicken was overcooked and dry. They had cooked so long there was barely any meat on them. You can't cook these like you cock the other chicken. And whoever the cook is they don't need to wear the same clothes they wore while feeding the cows! While I was waiting there people coming in to order and going into the kitchen. I think that's against the health and safety code.

I got the five piece chicken strip, and they were massive pieces and so juicy and hot! Not dry at all. The mashed potatoes and gravy and the biscuit were all very hot and amazing!
