If you're out traveling and decided to go see the Lincoln museum in Hodgenville KY, make sure before or after to stop in this little spot of sugary happiness. Everything is sweet and delicious to eat.

The Sweet Shoppe and Dessert Cafe in Hodgenville is an absolute gem. The fudge is fantastic and all the desserts taste homemade and fresh. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and they have a really cool feature with maps of the United States and the world where visitors can pin where they are from. All 50 states and all seven continents are represented. A fun place that makes you want to come back every time you are in town.

The desserts are amazing most of the staff is friendly except the little Burnett girl this is the 2nd time she was rude and acted like my 5 yr daughter was an inconvenience. I'd love to keep coming here but manager should really pull her and give her customer care training!!!! Highlighting that if you have issues with the job...dont work here! She was just very rude and I did not appreciate the attitude the 1st time I let it slide, everyone has bad days but 2x in a row...yeah no thank you!

Hello, this is Mr. Tentacles’ agent writing.

Today, Squidward visited the Sweet Shoppe Dessert Cafe and was left incapacitated and speechless following his experience. Shortly before his impairment, he called me to let me know that he just visited the most squidtastic establishment and had the most squidlicious banana split. It was so good, in fact, that he passed out from the squidly flavors which he remarked as “heavenly”. He is now safely at home recovering from his exsquidite experience.

This cafe has earned a SUPER SQUID 5-STAR review.
