We came in for Sunday Brunch. They had a few tables reserved, but we were offered one of those tables if we could eat before the groups showed in an hour. Plenty of good options on the menu that it was hard to choose which one I wanted. I had the Lincoln Farmboy Breakfast and my husband had the Sausage Breakfast Bowl. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. We'll be back again!

Great little gem in Hodgenville. Tasteful decor, nice ambient music, excellent service, and great food! We were visiting Bardstown from Chicago and had a wonderful experience on a Saturday night. Our party had seared ahi tuna, steaks, fettuccine Alfredo, pork tenderloin, pickle fries, peppermint cheesecake, & pineapple upside down cake. BYOB. Will definitely be back- worth the trip!

food is just mid, nothing wowed me with flavor
A few Saturdays ago, we stopped by Hodgenville for some fudge to bring back home to pig out but before heading back, my husband and I wanted to try 'The 16th'. We were hoping to get some brunch but the clock just struck past 2 pm as we stepped in =( We were greeted nicely by the waitress and she gave us the option to be seated wherever we pleased to. I advised her that I am gluten intolerant and the only options at the time were salads or a pork dish. I do not eat pork as well and so I opted for a salad. However, the chef and lady were very accommodating by asking if I would like to order from the dinner menu! Oh my, how sweet! I couldn't do that but thanks for the gesture guys! The 'Cranberry Chicken Salad' was a delight! The grilled chicken was so amazing and this was one of my favorite salads. The staff was great, the dining room was clean and inviting. But most importantly, the food was super and after a few days, NO GLUTEN ISSUE. I for sure will dine here again =)

We were visiting from Kansas City and this was a lovely place, both of the waitresses were great and even the owner checked on us, this was the best service we've had in a long time and all 3 were the most genuinely friendly people on our entire trip. The food was also great, thanks so much for your hospitality!

Ate brunch on a Sunday here, so I can't speak for other times. Good atmosphere and service. Food was good, not perfect but not everything always can be. Muffins we got were a bit dry and crumbly and there were different varieties of blueberry and banana. Wish we had known that but the server never mentioned it when putting them on the table.
Not a lot of options for a small stomach. It seems most brunch options are created for big meals only. There was one smaller option of biscuits and gravy (just white gravy, not a sausage gravy... weird for a Southern comfort food place not to have that...) And lunch options are also geared for a big meal unless you want salad. Chicken and waffles also don't have any syrup option beyond plain-Jane sugar syrup. Not the end of the world but kind of abnormal from my experience with that dish.
I know it sounds like I'm dissing this but I'm not, they are the minor niggling points to what was almost a 5-star experience. All the food (minus those muffins) we got was cooked very well and quite tasty.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the Lincoln Museum. The owner greeted us and was very welcoming. Food was great. I had the Gettysburger and it was cooked perfectly. For my side, I chose the coleslaw, which the owner said was prepared like his memaw always made it. Well it was just like I make it too; so of course, I liked it. Waitress was attentive and the decor was pleasing. Will visit again when in the area.
