Absolutely charming place close to home..not great food the two times I’ve dined however. Burger was too pink to serve in my opinion, the second time I had the Manhattan Project and the meat was very tough. On a positive note my friend was very happy with his pork tenderloin.
Dressed for the holidays on Christmas Eve eve- food and service were outstanding.

Such an amazing cozy spot. The atmosphere is so comforting and relaxed. The food was absolutely amazing. The fried green tomatoes are the best, haven't had them this good since my grandmother made them. The staff was super attentive, my glass never got half full and we were checked to make sure we didn't need anything. Truly a great place to visit. The hot brown was amazing and the burger was really good especially with the fried green tomatoes. I highly recommend checking them out.

As we walked into the 16th we were met with smiling faces and a warm welcome. Once we were seated by Pam, we were greeted by Bryan our waiter. Bryan was extremely friendly and courteous throughout our meal. The meal my wife and I enjoyed was delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. We will definitely be coming back soon. Thank you guys for a great experience!

Friendly people, great food, what’s not to love? The pork tenderloin was incredibly juicy and tender, and the Brussels sprouts were good to the last leaf. Fried catfish was perfectly cooked. We tried the bread pudding and the coconut pie—both outstanding. The only disappointment was the side salad, but only because I wanted more lettuce. We were seated quickly and even though all of the tables were full, we were quickly served and well taken care of.We really loved the lights, beautifully crafted brass with a gorgeous patina. The only downside to the atmosphere was acoustics. It was quite loud and there was an unhappy toddler. However, he was much happier when his food arrived.Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable meal, served by friendly professionals. Kudos to everyone who made our first meal in Hodgenville such a pleasant one.

Excellent food and service. April was very attentive and an excellent server. The owner, Joe, gave us a history of the restaurant and so much fun to visit with. They made us feel like we were part of their family. Beautiful atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Everything was fantastic! Service, atmosphere, food, and the pricing was very reasonable as well! Loved the pork tenderloin and the catfish, hot cheese bites, and the blackberry cobbler was probably the best I’ve had! Just wonderful!

This place was great! We stopped in for lunch after leaving Lincoln’s Birthplace. The staff were very nice & super accommodating to my girlfriend’s dietary needs & she loved the pork tenderloin. I had the Hot Brown & was very impressed. The highlight was definitely the pecan pie for dessert!

Okay. Beautiful restaurant. Extremely nice server. The food was delicious. The only thing is that the prices were extremely high. $9.99 for a small piece of bread pudding and $12.99 for 5 small green tomatoes...little to expensive for the portion you receive.

What a great spot to find in this small town! We stopped in for lunch right before a visit to Lincoln's Birthplace. Atmosphere was clean and peaceful. I had my first ever Hot Brown, finished with a fantastic Mornay sauce, would definitely get it again. Sides were excellent as well, we had the fries and Mac and Cheese. Would definitely come back to visit Joe and his team when we're in the area again!
