Horseshoe Restaurant

Ordered a 8oz ribeye with bacon, medium rare ( pink center but warm). Steak was rare and unable to eat it. I sent it back, instead of another steak, I received the same one that looked like a road kill. Never again!

This is quite the gem. After dining in for dinner, it's not hard to see why these guys have been open for so long. Excellent food and service in a very cozy setting.

Karson our server was awesome. The steaks were a perfect medium rare. Juicy and flavorful.
We started with a tasty shrimp cocktail and a fresh house salad.
The prices were reasonable.
The dinning room is small, cozy and a bit noisy.
You will enjoy your meal.

If you’re looking for a GREAT “hole in the wall” restaurant, this is your place!

When we walked in we were taken back by the size and decor of the restaurant, but don’t let that deter you , the food , service and cocktails were AMAZING.

My husband steak was seasoned well and cooked to perfection along with my patty melt.

Excellent steak sandwich!

I used to love the Horseshoe, but the last 2 times it SUCKED. Last time was on New years eve, we waited for about 30 mins.to get a table and that was the good part. There was 4 of us in our party, we All ordered steaks and EVERYONE of them was COLD,NOT WARM. the fries we got was the hottest things on the plate. but we did'nt go there for hot french fries.I will NEVER go back.Oh how times has change.

Tonight I almost did something I have never thought of doing in the past, go and take back part of a tip I had left on the table. I refrained from doing so but the service was that bad and got worse after I got up from the table. The food was a disappointment, the salad was served with some of the lettuce hanging over the side of the bowl and the dressing tasted like a wal mart bargain version, the steak was tough not the tender version I have had here in the past, seemed to have been cooked over too high of a heat to rush in through. The baked potato was almost perfect as usual but the sauteed mushrooms on my wife's steak never saw a pan just the inside of a can. I would have mentioned this to the waitress but it is hard to talk to some one who seems to be making an effort to avoid you as much as possible. If this had been my first visit here it would have been my last and it might still be.

There's a reason this place has been around since 1969, it's because the steak is excellent as well as those incredible hash browns. Shrimp cocktail and 10 oz ribeye were delicious too. Chef's definitely know what they're doing. Took a while to get seated and waited on, but service was efficient after that. Cady is a friendly and professional server.

I always heard the Horseshoe had a good steak. I ate there today for the first time and ordered the filet. It was wonderful! It was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned . The service and food were excellent. We will definitely be back!

I've driven past here forever and finally decided to stop in for dinner. It's a very small restaurant. It seemed to be full of regulars. The staff was all very friendly. My food was cooked perfectly. Get the shrimp cocktail. The cocktail sauce is made in house and has plenty of horseradish. It's delicious.

The BEST steak I've ever had! The WORST waitress I've ever had. The waitress was immediately dismissive and judgmental. Once I placed my order and she realized I was spending money, her demeanor became more pleasant for a short while. She was very disrespectful very unattentive and refuse to look at either myself or my other member of my party we are both minorities and appear to be a biracial couple. The waitress was clearly acting on personal bias. I spent almost $100 on food and did not tip her because of this. Other than that I promise you the best steak you will ever have in your life from that gorgeous lady behind the counter at the grill!!!

We stopped here on a Friday night with our 3 year old grandson, not realizing how popular it was. When told the wait for a table was 25 minutes we opted to order to go. The bartender told me, AFTER I'd ordered and paid, that the food would be ready in 30-45 minutes so we headed back to the car to wait. At 30 minutes I went in to check, and then checked again a few minutes later. That time I overheard the cook tell the hostess, "she can wait just like everybody else." Well we were waiting, and pretty patiently too, I don't think asking the hostess for a timeline was inappropriate. It ended up taking ONE HOUR to get our to-go order which consisted of a salad, a burger, and a kids grilled cheese. The food was good, but nothing amazing, and to top it off... I got food poisoning during the night which I'm assuming was from the salad. Not a great experience overall.
