The wife had Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Mac & Cheese. I had Wild Catfish, homemade Slaw and a side Salad. The food was out of this world! The portions weren’t overwhelming and I walked away satisfied.

the loaded. mash potatoes taste really good..the amount of food per cost of meal is good for cook to order plates

I went to Ro/Mae's to eat and let me tell you the food and service was great! I was surprised about the amount of food given at such a reasonable price. The owner even came out and personally asked our thoughts and carried on a great conversation. I highly recommend taking the time out to try Ro/Mae's.

No one ever answers the phone when you call this place they just opened up new building over on the other side of Hopkinsville but no one ever answers so you can't even call to make an order to go

NOT THE ROMAE'S I REMEMBER!!!!

Mashed potatoes = cold
Fried cabbage = cold
Cornbread= cold
No butter
No tarter sauce
The soda/pop is flat.
The service sucked.
Took 30 minutes to get my food, only 1 other customer in the place.
I was so disappointed.
OH... the fruity guy in there was annoying, so loud.

This is an excellent southern comfort soul food restaurant. The service here was excellent and the food came out in large quantity and was delicious. It is located in an older building in downtown with what I can only imagine has a storied history by its ornate interior style. It is really easy to find using Google Maps.

I Was Looking For A Bite While I Was In Town & Came Across This Soulfood Place. The Food Is Absolutely Delicious, Freshly Made & The Strawberry Lemonade Is Perfect.I Got The Fried Salmon, Cabbage, Loaded Mashed Potatoes, Cornbread, Jerk Wings, Onion Rings, & Banana Pudding.
