Went for the first time today and even my picky teens were impressed! I could eat their spinach and artichoke dip all day! My son said the chicken and waffles were the best he's ever had! Food and service was great!

Waitress was very nice but food took a while to come and it was not busy, actually the restaurant was pretty empty. It was also freezing in there and had to wear our coats. The food was just okay. Chicken tenders were pretty good but the fish was terrible… it was grease logged and the batter was sliding off… oil squirted out when taking a bite. Didn’t care for the coleslaw at all. Fries were okay. Nobody liked the Mac and cheese at our table. The ambiance is very nice and the atmosphere as well but they need to crank that heat up a touch and the food needs to be better for those prices.

First visit, and I’ll be back for sure!

Our waitress, Nia, was super kind. The environment was incredibly chill. Loved the deocr. And the food….The food was so good! 10/10

Even better this is a locally owned establishment!

If you’re looking for a nice spot to visit downtown Hopkinsville, look no further…The Local is for you!

The fish & chips and Reuben were both delicious. We especially enjoyed the coleslaw.

I ordered the fish and chips and a Guinness. Fish and chips were great! It comes with a garlic (tziki sauce type) which was also really good!
Let me preface by saying I'm not a big Cole slaw fan anyway and I felt like this one wasn't good. Tasted bitter to me. But again I'm not usually a huge fan of coleslaw to begin with. The bill came to $30

Staff was friendly and the place was nice but the food is Very over priced for the quality. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things. Their side salad is $7 for a bowl of iceberg lettuce with topping. And the shepherd's pie was $22 for what looks like a kids portion. UPDATE - this place made my family sick after we ate here. Both mine and my husband had upset stomachs, and my 1.5 year old was throwing up all night, and the next day, he could not stomach any food at all. We ordered the Shepard pie, side salads, and the Scottish eggs.

We arrived just as it opened so can't comment on the typical atmosphere but we enjoyed the food (proper sausages!!!) and the service was great.

Took my mom for lunch, she had the Whiskey Burger and I had the mango strawberry spinach salad with chicken. Everything was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth the visit!

Had a wonderful experience here. The bartender was awesome, and his recommendations were absolutely delicious. I would make a trip back just for the sausage rolls. The whiskey burger looked so good that I forgot to take a picture of it. And the blood orange margarita is one of the best margs I've ever had.

Comfy, relaxed date night at the pub! The bartender, Dean, was attentive and we were very happy with his service. Highly recommend the hard cider, fish and chips, scotch eggs and Guiness mac and cheese.
