The Bristol is a classic when it comes to Louisville. It’s easy to make a reservation for this restaurant through OpenTable. I met friends at this space because we found it to be good for conversation especially after book club. We ordered the green chili wontons which are incredible every single time you get them. For dinner I actually got the vegetable lasagna, which was extremely hardy. It was a very large portion. It was warm and it had multiple layers of noodles and vegetables....
I almost never eat at any of the Bristol’s now, though they used to be on our regular rotation years ago. A friend wanted to go so I figured we’d see if anything has improved. Food is and has been for some time consistently mediocre. New ownership? I had a Cobb salad with chewy fried chicken today. Went to the Bristol last Sunday for brunch
Everything was great till we went to get waffles.
The young man making them could not see what he was doing.
He looked like a alpaca
There was so much hair and no net
Needless to say, no waffles for us
