Smashburger offers a variety of meal options, with burgers being a customer favorite. The burgers are cooked perfectly, and the fries, especially the Smash fries, have a delicious and herby seasoning that many recommend upgrading to. The tots can be a bit plain, but the Brussel sprouts stand out as a popular menu item, which is rare for a burger joint. Prices are affordable, and the fries have a unique crispy, crunchy texture and savory flavors. Shakes, particularly the peanut butter flavor, are decadent and delicious. Parking is convenient, but it's best to avoid lunch rushes. The Louisville locations are highly regarded.
Customers describe Smashburger as a great place for steak burgers, fries, and milkshakes. One customer notes that the food is so good that their daughter couldn't stop talking about it. While there was a mention of a disappointing experience with a young man at the register who seemed distracted by his phone, the speed of service and the quality of the food made up for it. The staff, including a front worker named John, is recognized for their hard work and encouragement towards each other, which adds to the positive atmosphere. Overall, the food is described as phenomenal, and many plan to return for more.
