El Cerro Grande is a family friendly Mexican restaurant with a welcoming staff that is so friendly and amazing. The food is always delicious and served hot. The owners, waiters and waitresses are always smiling and willing to get you whatever you need no matter how busy they are. El Cerro Grande is my family’s favorite Mexican restaurant in Independence. Tonight we ordered for the 20th time since they opened 5+ years ago. We have never had any mistakes in our carry out orders. The food is always hot and fresh. Plus, the portions are huge, so we get 2-3 meals from them. The staff is always friendly and nice.
