Went to El Jinete for the first time. Ordered it to go as we had just bought fish next door. When we got home we realized that the food was made incorrectly. Called the store to let them know and the guy on the phone says to bring the food back in and he can help. I explain that I do live 20 min away and they close in 10 minutes is he going to stay open he says no. I asked if I can bring it in the morning then. He says no. My husband and I went there for dinner. We ordered the fajita for two without the shrimp, it was priced on the menu for 32.99. We received our bill they charged us 39.99. We would’ve been better off getting 2 separate fajitas for that price. When I asked the manager about the price she said it was an up charge because we were getting more meat, I said but we left off the shrimp. I asked her to show me any fajita on the menu for 39.99. We have been eating here for year and use to love going in or getting take out. But it seems like prices keep going up and portions continue to get smaller. This past experience has made me never want to order from here again. 2 of our 4 meals were wrong. We were told oh nothing we can do unless you bring it up here.
