We went about an hour before closing, and everything was cold and congealed. Consumers came in after us and I saw nothing fresh being put out. I just don’t think that the kitchen or the staff care about the quality of the food that they’re bringing out.
I’d been waiting for this Giovanni’s to open, and it was absolutely worth it. The pizza is elite and so are the subs. I got to mention the buffet is also impressive. What really sets this place apart is the staff though. They’re incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome every time. Giovanni’s has quickly become one of my favorite spots in J-town.
My husband grew up eating Giovanni’s in Paintsville KY. He was so excited when he saw the commercial for them here. We ordered the Stromboli, cheese sticks and pepperoni pizza. All I can say is SPOT ON! The food was delicious! When we went in to get our order the place was so clean and the buffet looked delicious. I am going to assume the gentleman behind the counter was the owner, he was so nice and friendly. I can say we will definitely be making this our go to pizza...read full review
