We were in the mood tonight for cheeseburgers and it was a bit later than usual but Smokey Bones is open late (1:00 AM). We got there about 8:15 PM. We asked for Christa again. Yes, she bought us our drinks again without us telling her. I love it!! I had a reward email saying we had $10 off $25, so it took me a while to decide which cheeseburger I wanted. Since I don't eat bread Christa suggested I might want to order the bacon cheeseburger as a lettuce wrap since I shouldn't eat buns. They have absolutely delicious sweet potato fries so I chose them. Phil ordered the bacon cheeseburger and baked beans. Our meal was there at 8:30 and yes, I remembered to take pictures. Our cheese burgers were great ! They were so juicy, even my well done burger. We didn't rush but enjoyed our food and conversations together until our drinks were empty. Paid our bill and sweet Christa brought me a fresh iced tea to go. We asked about what Smokey Bones was doing for Super Bowl and Valentine's Day. It was so relaxing and I feel like she enjoys chatting with us. I think that sometimes people going to restaurants and just bark out their orders to the servers and don't really treat them like people. We love Christa being our server and wished her a Happy Valentine's Day. She got a big smile on her face. Happy Valentine's Day to my review friends. Robyn

This is the third time in the past month that we have tried to eat at this restaurant. The service to seat you is long even if you are the only people waiting to be seated. Once seated it is like you are invisible. We have left this restaurant without even placing our order as the staff did not take the order after being seated for 20 minutes. We witnessed other customers getting up and leaving as they had not been waited on. Do not go!!

Thank you Smokey Bones for being open late!! They close at 1 am on Fridays! My Daughter and I drove over from Southern Indiana, and was not disappointed. I had the half size portion of the chicken bbq nachos, with baked beans and baked potato. The nachos and beans were delicious!!! The potato was over cooked and soaked with butter. My daughter had a fried chicken sandwich, stacked with fresh vegetables! She loved it. Her fries were hot and crispy. The restaurant has a lively vibe, with good music. The staff was upbeat, and friendly! We will be back!

Special they offered wasn't going to be ready for another 4-5 hours after lunch. Prices were crazy high for the quality and amount of food you get. Recived one drink and never got a refill after being seated for over an hour and a half. Will not be back! Update: manager commented on this review to contact them, email sent a week ago and crickets

Went there for lunch yesterday. Had one of the lunch specials called the OG bowl for eight dollars. It's pretty good. The Callahan smoked wings were amazing. Service was great as well.

Came in from out of town and decided to try out this place. With a group of four (one being a child) we decided on The Bone Fire for dinner. This option came with five meats and potato wedges. We ordered a few other sides to fill out the meal. Most of the meats were good but the chicken was a little tough. The broccoli that was ordered was overcooked but seasoned well. Our waitress, Kennedy, was really good and made sure that our dinner went well. Would come again if ever back in town.

Basically famous Daves-1. Our waitress was excellent. I ordered the brisket platter. I asked if it was the lean flat or fatty point as I don't care for fatty cuts. It came out and was 75% a fatty blob. The wonderful waitress had them bring out a leaner cut to replace it and it was much better. The fried pickles were great. My youngest had the kids ribs and loved them. I would say if you are a bbq enthusiast or smoke a lot of meats yourself it's not going to suit your fancy. If you are hungry it will fill you up. If you crave southern bbq go somewhere else.

Definitely a burger experience I must say! My burger literally had a dead roach in it and the fries were so cold!

Definitely great wings and great barbecue food to eat. Stays open late and very convenient to eat if in Jeffersontown in Louisville.

The meat was so tough I choked and it taste like they just threw the meat in a oven and put BBQ a sauce on it

Smokey Bones is an oldie but goodie. Haven't been to one in a decade cuz didn't have one nearby. The mini nacho app was delicious and presented nicely. Chips were standing up. Looked like they had yummy cocktails but we didn't have any. We ordered the "grill" meal. It's literally served on a small grill that has charcoal in it and smoking. So cool. Had bbq ribs, chicken wings, grilled chicken, saisafe and steak. Small pieces. Nice to share! Also had wedge potatoes, peppers and onions. In the middle of grill was bowl of delicious sauce (not one of 4 found on table). Good value for that. Waitress was perfunctory not overly friendly. Nice and neat inside

Without the opportunity to step out for lunch today, I found myself ordering from a third-party delivery service. I found Smokey Bones on Uber Eats and thought it was worth trying. It's further than I would normally drive for carryout, so I thought I would take advantage while I was paying for a delivery service anyway. For that reason, I cannot comment on the service or the ambience of the establishment.I tend to gravitate toward local businesses, and pulled pork isn't normally something I crave. Nonetheless, I ordered the following-Pulled Pork SammyHouse-smoked pork, hand-pulled, and piled high on a toasted bun. Served with your choice of 1 side.Potato WedgesCrispy potato wedges tossed with our sweet and smokey dry rub and topped with fresh parsley.I liked the bun. It was soft but not soggy. The pulled pork was flavorful, but not overly smokey. For their prices, I think "piled high" is a slight stretch. I had the option of ordering up to two sauces. I picked one because there was no comment option to make sure it was served on the side. It was served on the side, so I wish I tried another sauce too. However, the sauce I got was right up my alley. It was heavy on the vinegar, which I prefer. The sauce was Carolina Mopping. The sauce was the star of this meal. The wedges were good. They could've been crispier but I did order it delivery, which can certainly impact crispiness through no fault of the restaurant. I would've liked them to be heavier on the dry rub and they weren't topped with fresh parsley. I'd probably try a different side if I were to order again.
