Really good food with an attentive and friendly wait staff. After eating a generously portioned lunch, we had coffee and deserts. The coffee was excellent and the homemade banana pudding was like something grandma made.
I really loved this place! Besides the really good food, the decor and atmosphere were great! It felt like you were in an upscale home. The staff seemed like family. I loved the farm house decor especially the farm house double sink in the bathroom ! What a find! I loved the 20 min. country drive as well. I can't wait to go back! I'm gonna need to take a walk and chug a gallon of water after this. (Diabetic)I highly recommend this place if you are also feeling like traveling whimsically.I'm a transplant from Texas getting familiar with ALL the areas of Kentucky.The River Reuben is delightful. You want to eat it all, but don't eat all the fries. Although they are, yummy, nicely seasoned and crispy. Save room for cake. I chose chocolate. Very happy with that decision.
