Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I came in from Dallas Texas, working here . I stopped in to get some food, found out that it was only one cook there, my fish was re cook beans were dry, they didn't have any cornbread. I ask for raspberry lemonade instead he bought regular lemonade. I woke up because the grease had me coughing.

Food was served quickly, hot, and delicious. The host, Preston, was very cordial in explaining the specials and in seating us. Aimee, our waitress was very friendly and efficient and was attentive in making sure everything was good with our meals and in refilling our drinks. The manager also stopped our table to inquire about our experience.

Food was good,but waitress was terrible. Waited 45 mins after ordering to get our food. Manager said she'd make it right,but never did.

I'm giving a 2 star, because I had went and ate the day before here, it was on point. I went back the next day, and ordered to go, and I ate what I could, because I was hungry, and they were convenient. Not sure why it went downhill over night, but my second meal was not very eatable. 😪

Very slow kitchen. Food was cold because of waiting over 40 minutes for food and 20 minutes to get water. Probably will be the last time visiting.

What has happened?? Is there no management overseeing things?! We are having bad experience after bad experience. I don't think I can keep giving it a chance anymore. Multitude of problems with many orders!

Food is never hot take out or eat in.

Awful service. Waited an hour and a half for food. Asked to speak to manager who would not come out to speak to us. Had to go find her. Finally got our food and it was cold - three of them grilled cheese. One of us ordered soup we were told they always have to find out an hour and a half later, they didn't have it. After asking for them to microwave the food and still not having everyone's food, we boxed it up and walked out. Will NEVER go back there.

I have been ordering Holiday takeout on Christmas Eve since Year 2018. This year we ordered from the LaGrange, KY location and were very disappointed. I ordered for pickup the Chicken and Dumplings to serve 10 people along with three sides. There was no chicken in the dumplings and the sides were just little small tins. Normally the sides have been full large tins, and of course, big pieces of chicken in the dumplings. What we received hardly fed the group, which has never been the case. It definitely was not worth the price (plus tip) this time, so not sure that I will order again for a Christmas Eve family gathering.
