Terrible hours! So many people I know and coworkers from Norton Health care want to try this place but their hours don’t allot the time for us to go since we work during the day. Feels like these hours are catered to retired folks only. I have never heard of a pizza place being closed on weekends and closing at 2 during the week!! They are losing a huge amount of business with these terrible, limited hours.

I've heard a lot about this place. Being from NYC it made sense to go and try it. I gotta say for being in KY, this pizza is as close as a NYC slice as you're going to get. Heck, there are places in NYC that no longer get it right. This slice has the foldability of a NYC slice and crispy but not burnt bottom. Apparently they order their dough from NJ, that's the key ingredient and it works. If you're in the area and not ordering from these guys, I don't know what to tell you, other than straighten yourself out. Stop ordering from the chains and get a pie to take home. The cheese and sauce flavor isn't exactly like home, but that's a preference thing. Everything else is on the money and well worth it. It's worth taking note and ordering from here if you're local- take it from me an actual NYer who eats NYC style pizza regularly. 5:5 starsOn to the service, the woman who served me was very polite and attentive, but the man in the kitchen who overheard our conversation seemed very annoyed by the conversation. It's okay, maybe he was having a bad day. Who knows, but word to the wise, customers take note of how their presence is taken. Silence and stares that look like disdain don't go over well with visitors or customers. Again I'm not local and I didn't stay long, and I've since returned home; I'd probably return to order again, but if I felt like I wasn't welcomed I'd stop doing business here even if the slice reminded me of home. Don't let that stop you from ordering though, that slice is good. 4:5 starsAtmosphere, it had classic booth arrangements for a pizza place and tons of posters and items referring to NYC, including an old poster of the Twin Towers pre 9/11. It's odd to see the towers anywhere post 9/11 and while most people from outside of NYC don't have a connection to them, as a NYer who was near when it happened it's still triggering 20 years since. Then there were the DiMaggio posters and other things. Right on track for pizzeria decor. 5:5 stars

This place is truly a mom and pop business. Heather, Darren, and their grown up kiddo run the show! They serve lunch to a great deal of the county almost everyday and they do it well! Their subs are hands down the best in the OC. The bread the use for the subs and pizza is to die for. The pizza can be sold by the slice or by the whole pie. Phenomenal food that I am personally happy to see sticking around in the OC.

Finally got to stop by and try something from here! I had egg salad on a half sub, with cheddar cheese, and then also got a couple of their little layered bars. It was so delicious! I hate pickles in my egg salad and was pretty happy to find out that they didn't have any in theirs. Absolutely enjoyed it and can't wait to try it again.

Reheated pizza by the slice is average at best. Goofy hours. Proprietors never smile, act like they are doing you a favor to take your order. Never tried the sandwiches, can't comment on those.
The owners are down to earth folks and give great service. The NY pizza is outstanding, best in the Louisville area, great sauce and ingredients. Real NY pizza.

The owner(s) of this pizza place should be ashamed of treating customers the way they do. We are doing work in the la grange area, and stopped by for lunch yesterday to place a to go order. As first time customers, we pulled right in with our truck and trailer, obviously not knowing there was a gravel lot in the back for bigger vehicles. Without any previous conversation, the owner (male) barged in the door acting like a child and throwing a tantrum because we were taking up spots in the parking lot and yelled at us to park in the back. We were 2 out of 4 people in the whole entire place. He was immediately rude and caused a complete scene by raising his voice in front of customers and other staff members. He did not once even try to be polite and explain to us that the bigger lot was in the back. When I called and spoke to one of the owners this morning, she seemed very annoyed and tried to deny the altercation happened as it did. After reading reviews all over the internet of this place, I now know that this man has had more than a few altercations with customers. If I could give our experience negative stars, I definitely would. If you enjoy being harassed then this place is definitely for you. If not, then I'd strongly advise you not give your money to this place.
