We have stopped in several times, at the end of the night and Maria has made sure we felt welcome and took care of us. Makes you want to visit Puerto Rico!

Amazing food!!!! Our party of four all tried different things, including guacamole. Everything was made fresh on the spot and was so flavorful! And we couldn’t believe how reasonable it was priced! We were too full to try the flan, but will next time! Maria, the owner, spent so much time with us. Highly recommend.

I loved the place, you feel like home with the decoration and the small place, the good Latin music, and the food incredible, the passion fruit juice is delicious, also the owner Maria was our waitress and she is so sweet and nice and caring. I definitely will go there more often. The prices are very affordable.

Excellent Puerto Rican restaurant, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Very small place but the service was fabulous and by the owner who was a joy to speak with. She gave us explanations of her dishes and recommendations. We had the Tripleta Boricua sandwich with fries and the El Jibarito sandwich (served on fried plantain) with rice and cup of beans which were delicious. Looking forward to our next visit and hopefully soon. They also have an outdoor patio for warmer weather dining.Nice selection of cocktails, beer, and drinks, some of her cocktails such as the Coquito are made in house as well as homemade desserts ready to take home, all looked awesome!Serves breakfast as well.Parking: Small parking lot in front of and beside building, however additional parking across the road.

Is advertised as a Puertorrican restaurant but they give you chips and salsa upon arrival not a bad thing to do but do something that is puertorrican not mexican. Food is just ok and bit overpriced.

I can't say enough good things about this place! My family came in from across Kentucky to celebrate my birthday here. The people are as wonderful as the food. Great music, too! If you didn't know you were in Buckner, KY, you would have thought you were in a family restaurant in Puerto Rico.I had the mofongo con lechon asado. If you aren't sure what Morongo is, it's smashed fried plantains with garlic and chicharrones (aka pork rinds). So savory! The lechon asado (roasted pork) is so perfectly tender, and if you ask nicely, you might get some crispy pork skin on top.We ordered guacamole, queso, and tostones rellenos for the table. The tostones were a delicous meal in and of themselves with chicken pork and shrimp. You could tell the guacamole was freshly smashed to order, not sitting in a fridge all day. It's the best guacamole in any restaurant I've been in, and I get guacamole everywhere I can! Order a side of regular tostones to dip in that and the queso.I tried the empanadillas and chicharron de pollo from other plates and lordy... if you are unsure of what to order at a Puerto Rican restaurant and like fried chicken, get the chicharron de pollo! So crispy and the sauces the give you are perfect. You can even ask for a hot sauce if you dig spicy things. They also have great cocktails and ice cold beer. Try the Paloma or mojito.I can't wait until it warms up and I can go sit on the patio!
