I have been eating here for decades, I am not certain how long the current owners have been operating this eatery.One thing is certain, the chili dogs are the best ever, homemade sauce and onions are what I like. French Fries are made to order, never soggy like fast food places. The burgers are hand shaped and are cooked when ordered.There are many other items on the menu, I am plugging what I like to eat. Nice little restaurant to go orders only they only accept cash no credit cards excetera I had the Chuckwagon patties one which was really good and one was burnt all to hell disappointed me which is the reason why I only gave them three stars seems like since the pandemic they've lost their touch sorry to say
They have the greatest Coney Islands and hot, crisp crinkle fries. They a always offer to put shredded cheese on the Coney's, but I never eat them that way. I love to have a few chopped onions on them, and I am in heaven! I am very particular about about my Coney Sauce and fries.The Fairgrounds also has a great deluxe burger everyone would love. Another delish treat they make themselves are their pies and other deserts. Their Chocolate Cream pie is almost as good as my Momma's!...
