La Isla Mexican Restaurant is a popular choice for those seeking delicious Mexican cuisine. Known for its fast and friendly service, the restaurant offers average-priced meals that are suitable for both family nights and date nights. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the Chef Cali, which is a child's favorite, and the beef Supreme burrito, loved by many customers. The fajitas also remain a popular choice. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, and the restaurant is recognized for packing hot and cold items separately for carry-out, ensuring nothing gets soggy. La Isla is a community gathering place where everyone on staff is friendly and remembers their customers’ preferences, contributing to an awesome overall meal and atmosphere. It efficiently handles both large groups and solo dining experiences. While the fried ice cream has received mixed reviews, the overall food quality remains high, with meals served hot and drinks always cold. The restaurant is accommodating to vegetarians, allowing for substitutions with legumes in most dishes. However, there is limited handicapped parking, and finding a spot during peak dinner hours can be challenging.
