The wait to get in was not bad at all maybe 5 minutes. Getting something to drink not bad at all either. After that! All down hill. Chios and salsa were terrible with no flavor at ask. After waiting 25 minutes finally getting the chance to ask to order we were told sure, 10 minutes later we ordered. 15 minutes of waiting till our cold food was sat in front of us and our waiter Jose 11 ran off again. Wait... microwaved my food and now I've got a heat and serve burrito. Screaming children with a blood curdling shrill, music turned up to mask it now can't hear ourselves at all think nor talk. Never was asked if needed a refill until I mentioned it. Expressed issues with Waiter and cashier but no concern was shown . A definite no return nor recommend coming from me!

This isy favorite Mexican restaurant food is always great, hostess is super nice. Only problem is the waiter Jose is rude and rushes you to order. Doesn't come back to check and see if everything is okay or to even do refills has an all around bad attitude. We waited 20 minutes for silverware after our food was brought to us, so our food was cold as we ate it. Had to get another waiter to bring the silverware. I'll still come back here to eat but I would prefer a different more friendly waiter/waitress

Always fast and friendly service, La Isla offers average priced meals that are easy for a family night or a date. Very laid back, with a bar so adult beverages are available. My child's favorite is Chef Cali, whereas I like the beef Supreme burrito best, with the fajitas second. So far the only negative is the fried ice cream, definitely not tasty. Regardless of time of day, always fast service and the food is always hot and fresh and drinks always cold.Vegetarian options: Few dishes labeled vegetarian, but I believe any dish could have the protein changed to a legume instead of animal protein.Parking: One way in and out. Sometimes during dinner hours it is hard to get in.Kid-friendliness: Always kind to my young child, and let's him order his food and drink. Always asks if you want any changes to the menu food ordered for the child.

The older gentleman (a manager maybe) was the guy who took our orders. He didn't really seem to care, never refilled our chips & salsa and didn't come back while we were eating to ask about the food, in which I would've asked for a water and more chips. The food was pretty good. The enchiladas Supreme were really good, as was the rice, but the beans didn't taste good. The cherry Pepsi and the water we did have was also good. We drove from North KY and it was a decent time.

Great food, prices, and fast service. It stays busy for good reason. Parking wraps around the building but you can park on outside of lot if necessary.
