If I could give them zero stars, I would. My husband called around 8 this evening and asked what time they closed, which we were told 10 pm. He then asked what time is the latest to place a to go order, in which they said 9:40 so he said he’d call back then since he’s on second shift. We called back at 9:35 and they refused to take the order because the kitchen is closed. We told them about the conversation earlier and she said “it seems to me that we purposely called and placed the order at the last minute” … my husband tried to explain to them that he’s on second shift and eats later and she questioned and didn’t believe that he eats at 10pm… And then we were hung up on when we asked to speak to a manager. I tried calling back multiple times and they would answer the phone and hang up immediately. We have been long time customers for years and will NEVER be back again. We had never had any issues with customer service before tonight. I’m assuming they must be under different management given the recent low reviews.

It’s a shame about this place. I knew the owner (RIP sir) when they were in Lexington on Richmond Rd. He was such a good person. Took care of me when I was down on my luck. So to see this place in the current condition saddens me. We walked in and no one greeted us. I had to walk in further to find someone, saw two ladies sitting in a booth. They were servers. They just turned and looked at us. So we had to ask them to seat us. The tables had dirty dishes on them still from prior guests. The salt and pepper shakers were only 1/4 full and extremely dirty. Did not want to touch them. Our server would leave us and go sit down where we found them in the beginning. So service was sub par. The food was meh at best. I did order some extras al a carte (meatballs and sausage link). The sausage was dry as a bone, so for $6 for one it wasn’t worth it. I don’t know if I’d ever go back. The pasta was greasy for some reason. I hope they get it together b/c it used to be an awesome Italian restaurant!

We placed an order while on vacation for a pesto chicken pizza. When I went to pick it up, the two employees were on their phones in a booth in the corner of the restaurant. Their alarm system let them know that the front door was opened and that I had entered, but neither of them raised a finger to come help me. I went ahead and waited for a few minutes, but neither of them noticed me. I had to ding my wedding ring on the bar to get their attention. The Pizza itself was just as terrible as the service. The crust tasted like sawdust, the cheese was bland, and there was no where near enough pesto. There were slices with little to no pesto at all. I will never be coming back here.

Pizza was not done and very greasy and marinara was very running in the spaghetti. The restaurant was clean and our service was excellent.

The waitresses appeared disinterested, almost annoyed to approach our table. We're considering exploring other dining options next time.

This place has all the signs of being a nice little Italian restaurant, the one thing they forgot was flavor.Had the lasagna and meatballs. Honestly it's pretty bland. The meatballs had an odd slightly rubbery texture and little flavor. If you want proof it's bland, just look at their "garlic" bread.Maybe the pizza is better... Probably not going to try it.

The food is surprisingly good every single time. Atmosphere good. Music is almost always slightly too loud to talk comfortably. Overall still very good.

Excellent food, excellent service. I had oven baked lasagna. It was very tasty, piping hot and homemade. Wife had oven baked ziti and said it was delicious. Verona's is going into the lunch and dinner rotation.
