They only take one order at a time from the drive thru. My guess is the locals call in their orders before they arrive. This is a local hole in the wall and I’d recommend it to anyone passing through. Found myself in town during lunch and the food was served hot and s fresh. Speed is not their strong suit but fresh food was.
You can't beat a milkshake from Sandy's. You just don't need to be in a hurry. If there is more than 1 car in front of you in line and you only have an hour for lunch, you may as well head somewhere else. You will set there for an uncomfortable amount of time wondering if they forgot about you. Worth it if you have the time lol. My favorite mom and pop place so far. I could just be biased because I was raised up with it. I looooove the Reeces milkshake when it is made right; only rarely this happens, but sometimes it tastes like not enough flavor is added.
