Stayed at The Origin and stopped in for a drink and a snack during my stay in Lexington. The food was delicious and the bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable! Drinks were made well and service was fast.
Hate to complain but I've given this restaurant business despite them improving. This was my second visit and don't really want to go back. Each time I've been with parties of 6 to 8 and there have been issues. Today our food took a while and then came out cold. It was remedied by the waitress, replacing each item that we complained about or they just kept it but really should have sent it back. Food was excellent. We even bought some of their balsamic glaze. Server was exceptional. However, asked for a Manhattan with the house bourbon. Got the bill and was charged $61 for it. Asked about it and the Manager said he could cut the price in half. Never got an explanation on how they got that wrong. Took another hour to get the bill and they still did not get it right.
