I tried the Sausage Fest pizza on a thin crust and it was so DELICIOUS and loaded with plenty of sausage regular and spicy and pepperoni. The crust was thin and crisp but the best part was that the crust was not greasy. So far this is the best pizza I have tried here in Lexington, better than Goodfellows. They also have a good variety of beers. If you get the opportunity to eat there take a chance I don't think they will disappoint you.
Edit: They took away the Margo. The service was always good, the staff friendly but the menu has changed a lot and so our reason for going to Apollo is no longer.
Bring back the Margo!
Well deserved 5 stars. Since their appearance in Lexington Apollo has been a welcome addition and in my humble opinion one of the top tier spots to get an amazing pie in Lexington!

We enjoyed stopping here on our way through Lexington. It was a Tuesday evening and there was only one waitress, but she was kicking it. I ordered the gangster pizza. The thin crust was crispy with generous mushrooms and onions, but I could barely detect the sausage. My husband had pepperoni which was generous on an original crust. It was a bit greasy, but that's pepperoni for you. They offered local beers on tap and a variety on the menu. I would go again.
