Very well done. Good knowledge of coffee and prep. Real "craft"/high level third wave coffee.

One of my fave coffee shops in Lex! They did change management but the coffee is as good as ever and all the baristas are so nice!

Coffee forever. Cool atmosphere. Excited to have it in the downtown area!

Apparently this place has changed hands somewhere over the years I've been driving by without stopping in, but today I finally NEEDED caffeine in a bad way and decided to give it a go. The space is big and bright, perfect for perching with a latte and a laptop. The menu is not overly fluffy or lacking any variety - just a few good essentials. The pastry cases and retail shelves (for bagged coffee) were bare, which was discouraging, because I'm always game for an up-sell. I ordered a cold brew with some kind of non-dairy milk, which was rich and sweet, as advertised. At $4.24 for 16 oz. I was quite pleased. Both people working were very friendly and helpful; one of them informed me they have another location on Malibu, and the same people also own Metropolitan Donuts. All in all I'd go again, maybe even to get some work done for a few hours, but I'd want the option of goodies to snack on. I went after lunch so maybe they were cleaned out before I got there - I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Some new signage reflecting the accurate name wouldn't hurt, either.

Wellllllllllll. I am a little disappointed that my all time favourite coffee shop is under new ownership, but I can handle change, and want them to succeed! The coffee is pretty good as far as coffee goes. The vibe has most certainly changed, and is noticeably dirtier since it became Barista Social. Bathroom toilet really needed to be cleaned, flies landing on the pastries (why are they out in the open?) and underneath the tables looked like they hadn't been moved and swept under in a few days. Lastly, there is a marked difference in the mouthfeel and taste now that they're not using JD Country Milk. I would absolutely pay a little more for quality milk with more pastry and snack options (in an enclosed case).

Been to this shop three times since it switched management, and each time there's been a different issue. All three times they have been out of some form of coffee I wanted to order, be it cold brew, their espresso machine was down, or they just were not prepared to serve. Some simple organization and management upgrades would be nice. Good coffee, bad management.

This place has the potential to be awesome. However, they still need some work. Offering Sweet Bloom, Panther, and 49th Parallel coffees are a great start. People who are used to Daily Offerings coffee should understand that those roasters above are a huge upgrade. The whole bean coffees from these roasters need to always be stocked and advertised when stocked. When I visited, there were only a few bagged coffees from their own brand, and they were months old.

Good tasting coffee, with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Great place to get done with done.

Same vibe as Daily Offerings. The coffee is still good, and a great place to grab a dirty chai for a late morning pick me up. I like the space, and it's great to come study. We will be back! Glad a coffee shop is still in this space.

After having come to love the delicious coffee drinks and pastries of Daily Offerings, I decided to had my first of the season iced coffee drink on Saturday. In the past, I never experienced an issue with getting a delicious iced latte with foam. (Yes, I realize that foam Is a byproduct of steamed milk, and that steamed milk is not used in a latte. Still, the baristas would humor me, and make what I wanted. Regardless of whether or not it's traditional, I enjoy an iced latte, with the texture of the foam as I sip it. If I wanted milky coffee without foam, I'd make it at home. On Saturday, I found out that this wonderful pair of cafés has been sold, and the names changed. Very disappointed in this. I sure wish the previous owners had not sold out. At least there are several more good cafés and coffee roasters in Lexington, but I will miss the atmosphere of these.

Love that there's Sweet Bloom + 49th Parallel here! Staff was super friendly and fun to talk to! Nice open and breathable space with lots of seating. However, don't like the dome lid they gave me on my iced drink. Kind of clashes with the aesthetic, which is unfortunate. #nowhippedcream

Honestly, I am so disappointed. Daily offerings was the BEST coffee I have ever had and the new ownership has entirely changed the products. Daily offerings had a community of people following them and I with the change of products, they will lose business. I am upset!
