Our food was delicious and so were our drinks. The atmosphere feels fun and festive. Usually the service at Carson's is great. Unfortunately last night our server neglected us. We wanted to order another round of drinks but she didn't check with us. It would be excusable if she was busy with other tables but finally we spotted her having a protracted conversation with another employee - laughing. It was a disappointing night compared to past our past experience.
A great experience from start to finish. Rib appetizer was fantastic, a perfect blend of smoke, sweet and heat. Super tender with a nice touch of crispy. My wife had the scallops (outstanding) and I had the Bourbon Barrel Filet which was also fantastic. I'm a steak snob, and this filet was a perfectly cooked Medium Rare and delicious. Our server was attentive and helpful but did not hover around us. 5 stars for me.
We had dinner at Carson's & it didn't disappoint. We were seated immediately & ordered Bardtown & water—great pour. The filet medallions were tender & tasty. Our waitress was attentive & tended to our needs
