I wouldn’t call this complaining I just thought it could’ve been better , I got the whitefish sandwich , fries and potato salad . They gave me 4 good size pieces of fish which was a problem because the bun is too small for that much fish . The order comes out fresh cooked and served in a container. So the fries are all on top of your fish and you have to dig everything out to make your sandwich. They give you tartar sauce and some ketchup, I don’t know if it’s an option but I’d like to be able to get the sandwich with maybe a tomato and onion ? Just my preference. Also it’s all carry out so I ate in my car in the parking lot . Food was fresh and hot and large helpings but just a little messy and inconvenient to try and eat .

Good seafood. A little expensive, but then again who wants to eat at a seafood place where the prices are low? I don't know about you but when I'm shopping for fish I'm not looking to bargain basement the bill. Somehow cheap and seafood don't go together.

I love this little take out only fish shop. Their rye bread bun and Alaskan white fish sandwich is so good. The owners are super nice. We’ve never had a bad experience there.

The fish had lots of flavor and wasn't caked in batter.I wish the cole slaw had red onions in it It would help elevate it ? everything else was yummy service can be slow atmosphere needs to look more nautical fish nets life jackets

I love coming here when in the area and l always enjoy their whitefish sandwich. The recent low-rated reviews don't jibe with my recent experience, which was great. Judging by the line I was in, they are as popular as ever. For the uninitiated, this is a carry-out joint only. It is situated on a corner and parking is limited. Order at counter, get your ticket and pick up at the other end. I had to wait a bit as my fish and fries were being cooked hot and fresh, which was fine by me. As I write this, I'm wanting it again ?

After many many years eating their fish sandwich today I ate my last one. Never have I seen a place to eat go down as fast as this. To start with today when I arrived I noticed an extreme smell of fish in the parking lot which had never been there before, then I placed my order with a cashier whose attitude was like “Do I have to serve you”. I ordered my favorite large fish sandwich and proceeded to my car. I was there at 12:30 and only 4 cars in their lot. When I opened my sandwich I noticed it was very greasy (this usually happens when the frying oil has not been replaced or filtered when needed. The fish seemed thicker but had a very chewy texture, almost as if it was a cheaper cut. I noticed the skin on one of my pieces of fish ( this is a sign of cheaper fish and bad taste). Lexington has lost an icon of many years. I really hate to se that this place is history.

I absolutely love the food here but I feel that for the price I paid for a simple order of onion rings the amount should have been more substantial. I understand inflation but it's an onion not a Truffle. Anyway foods good as usual but them prices....... A shame
