The Chick-fil-A at the Gatton Student Center was PACKED. The staff only takes orders digitally through the kiosks— which can be nice— but is extremely annoying when there is staff waiting behind the counter doing nothing. The line to order flooded the Panda Express location next door and the spot to pick up your food was no different. My friend and I had to wait about thirty minutes to get our food. Despite the long wait time, our salads were greatly made. The staff at this location aren’t necessarily the nicest that you’ll find on campus but they are doing a great job for working during lunch time. This location has a TV that shows when each individual order is ready and is very helpful since it can be fairly hard to hear during the busy hours. I will be back at this location due to its convenience, however, I will definitely pick a different time to attend if I’m in a rush.

The Chick-fil-a in the student center is quite good in my opinion. Most people say they do not like it but I think it is good. The food is always hot and fresh. The other day I got a sandwich and it was really good. The bun was not soggy and the chicken was hot. That is really all you could ask for when getting a chicken sandwich, and compared to the chick-fil-a on central campus this one is one hundred percent better than the other. Another thing that is good about this chick is the fact that the workers can get your food out in under ten minutes and I know that doesn't seem fast but when there are thirty other orders it seems pretty fast. Overall I think that chick-fil-a is probably the best on campus and would highly recommend it if you are wanting some good chicken.

So slow, 20-30 min wait with 10 people

Waited over 30 minutes for my order when there were only a couple other customers waiting for their food, not busy at all. When I finally got my order they did not get the sandwich correct or give me my drink, as well as the bun being stale. I asked twice while waiting for it if the wait would be much longer and they acted annoyed that I was asking. On top of this the working manager was playing with a glove the entire time I waited and distracting the employees from fulfilling orders. Would not recommend this Chick-fil-A if you are gluten free, half the time they give you a normal bun, and act annoyed when you need it to be remade, and the wait is always long for it.

The workers here are usually not the friendliest and seem to just glance at me when i go to grab my food. Sometimes my milkshakes come out several minutes after my food but today my milkshake was never made and my sauce was not put with my food like i’d ordered. It’s just frustrating that I have a good experience at this chick fil a maybe 20% of the time that I order here.

This chick fil a has its work cut out for them. Lots of hungry students and faculty around lunch time. They always try to move efficiently and quickly. However, it can take some time to get your order but I’ve never waited more than 5-10 minutes. The food is always hot. My one downside is the soda machines are not always dispensing the drinks “properly” but with students presumably using them all day I can see how they require more maintenance than most. For a student center chick fil a, you can’t ask for much better.

As a first timer if you can imagine that, I do consider myself a food critic so my first thought was man it was crowed with ppl so it must be good ! The Casher was a pleasure and I wish I’d gotten her name, but n-e-ways My husband had the strips, my daughter had the wrap and I had the spicy chicken deluxe each of us were pleased and will be going back especially those waffle fries yum!! Good job Chick-fil-A in Richmond
