Be advised, this hotel does not have heat. The outside temperature was 40 degrees F and in my room, it was 54 degrees F. The front desk told me it was because "they" don't have the boilers turned on. How does this hotel even qualify for the Hilton brand?

I liked the hotel. Beautiful lobby , great bar and restaurant , nice gym, comfortable rooms and super staff. My only complaint is the temperature regulation in rooms. Despite trying to get heat, the fans blew cold air. Other than that, everything was up to my expectations.

The staff is nice enough. I don't know about the price because the company pays. Temperature. I'd love to meet the salesman who sold them a system that requires a maintenance person to switch individual rooms from cold to hot. Freezing cold in the room when I arrived. Turned the temp up, and up and up. Still blowing cold. Call the front desk and they send someone to "fix" it.

Great location and the staff was friendly but the elevators were broken. Only had one the first day and then only 2 the other 2 days. The breakfast at the Triangle grill was awful, especially for how much it cost. Service was really slow and they didn't seem to care how long you wait for a drink. The room was ok but didn't look very clean. For the money it cost I expected much better.

This past weekend, my wife and I had to travel to Lexington, KY for a family wedding. We arrived just a couple of minutes before 1:00 PM and were told that if we wanted to check in (which we had no choice but to do so to get ready for the wedding) we had to pay an additional $50 for an early check in. I'm a Lifetime Diamond Member and have been loyal to the Hilton family of properties for my entire career and this is the first time I've ever been charged for an early check in. I've heard of and have paid for a late check out, and Diamond Members can get a late check out up to 2:00 PM, but never an early check in??? I tried to contact the Diamond Desk but Hilton no longer has that service...so did a chat....twice. The guy yesterday said he had technical difficulties and today got someone who said basically it is what it is. A word to the wise, IF you plan on staying here and are getting in before their normal check in time, which I believe is 4:00 PM, be prepared to pay the $50 early check in fee. Or, I hear there's a nice Marriott nearby. That may be the better option. Just saying.....

warm moist rooms, toilets don't work, help in short supply.

This hotel is supposed to be one of the "best" hotels in Lexington. Unfortunately our experience wasn't so great. The Holloway smelled like wet basement or mold as soon as you got off the elevator & once we got to our room it was worst. The room as well as the bathroom had black stains on the ceiling. It was horrible! We also had our baby with us, we didn't want him breathing that nasty smell we ended up canceling the rest of our nights here when we told the front desk why we were cancelling they did nothing about it or didn't care he just checked us out & was very rude. We moved to the Hyatt down the street & it was wayyyyy better!! Service was great & rooms were very clean I would recommend that hotel instead if you're looking to visit Ky.

Great location. Very pricey which is what I would expect. However the employees at the front desk rude. I normally stay at Marriott because with their rewards you get a late checkout at no charge. As a Hilton honors member you get nothing but rudeness at the front desk. I can say I will only stay and a Hilton if it's my last resort I will drive miles to stay at a Marriott they have never ever been rude they make you feel like a customer. Not at Hilton an overpriced place that treats you like we got your money so screw you. So if you want customer service go to Marriott and if you want to be treated like a number stay here.

At first glance this looks like a good typical Hilton, but there were a lot of overlooked things that made me feel the hotel was a fail compared to typical Hilton standards.First, the room was very dark and even with all the lights available it was darkSecond, on day one I needed to change the toilet paper roll. Now I am not that privileged to think I am above changing a roll of tp, but it did give me pause. I don't think I have ever changed a roll after checking in. Was housekeeping even there? After dinner that night, I went to put my leftovers in the fridge, I found other smelly leftovers. Again I questioned housekeeping standards.I went the next morning to their wonderful gym. The equipment looked great, except it's next to the hot tub and the gym was humid without air conditioning. I couldn't stay long. That night we found blood on the wall.Initial looks can be deceiving and I now know the Hilton name guarantees nothing.

I was a little worried to stay here with some of the negative reviews, but had a pleasant experience. The location is great in downtown Lexington, with everything in walking distance and Rupp Arena right across the street. The public areas are a little dated, but clean enough, and the room was nice. Bed was comfortable, though the ice machine on my floor was broken so I had to go to another floor. Gym was nice too, they had a pool / hot tub but the pool was pretty small. Self-parking in attached garage, I think it's $15 / night, but convenient. Had buffet breakfast in the hotel, good but not great. Service was OK throughout, though a bit on Southern time.

Fantastic service. Muffins were great and very reasonably priced at $3. I wish hotel breakfast was free but this place is pretty good.

My husband and I stayed here three nights. My sister-in-law and other relatives also stayed here, as we were in town for a wedding.I liked the convenient downtown location. We were able to take a walking tour of nearby historic homes in the Gratz Park neighborhood. We were able to walk to restaurants and a liquor store. The neighborhood felt safe. The hotel was a good place for a family get together. There was a nice bar where we sat both indoors and outdoors. We had several decent breakfasts at the hotel's restaurant the Triangle Grille. We did not try the breakfast snack bar. The hotel provided a private dining room for the morning after the wedding. We could get a breakfast from the restaurant, the snack bar or wherever and bring it into the private dining room for a group breakfast. The adjoining parking garage was convenient. We tried to drop off our room keys as we exited the hotel upon checkout, but could not locate the drop-off bin. You need your room key to enter and exit the parking garage.

This hotel was just ok, it is in a decent location downtown where you can walk to different bars and restaurants. However, the lobby had a weird smell, the room was average but the paint on the door in the bathroom was peeling and the water pressure was almost nothing, very hard to take a shower with minimal water. No breakfast is included and for the price you think at least a continental breakfast would be included. Overall the experience was meh and would probably choose a different hotel if ever going to downtown Lexington, KY again.

I stay in a lot of hotels in various price ranges. I'm currently in this Hilton and it is the worst I have experienced in a long time. Rooms are worn out, heat is noisy, bath room showers spray improperly , toilet won't flush properly and takes a long time to refill. Room looks clean on the surface, but it is actually dirty. I have asked for these things to be corrected twice at the front desk, but the problems still exist. I have even reported these problems to the executive office and they still have not been corrected.

The Hilton downtown met all my needs for my two night stay. When you arrive there's a nice bar to enjoy a drink or late night snack. Food closes at 10pm kind of early for a Monday. Rooms were clean and had breakfast the next morning.
