This place is great. You order at the counter, incredibly friendly staff, food comes out super fast and was delicious. They were incredibly helpful in all our requests to package up our to go food.

Veggies tacos, arroz con pollo, and chips and queso (ofc) are amazing. They also have daily specials & the jumbo margs aren't too sweet.

This is a family run spot with amazing food, service and drinks. To be honest, I haven’t liked that many places since coming to Lexington but this place is it. Def add this to your list.

Edit to add- I went back here the other day and had the best cantarito on our last night in Lexington. I’m going to miss this place. Go there and order one for me 😭

El Charro Tacos and Tequila Bar blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and real, the kind of place that instantly feels like home. The owner came over to talk with us, and you can just tell he pours his heart into this place.

The birria tacos were insane. Super tender, full of flavor, and that consommé was unreal. The chicken fajitas came out sizzling and were packed with fresh flavor too. Everything tasted authentic and made with real care. The Guacamole & Chicharrón was TOP TIER!!!

Between the food, the drinks, and the hospitality, this spot deserves every bit of 5 stars. If you’re anywhere nearby, make the trip. El Charro is 100% worth it!!

Incredible food at such a fair price. We got the fresh guacamole and an order of quesabirria tacos and both were outstanding. Extremely clean restaurant too which was notable. Great bar to watch any game at with stellar margaritas. Absolutely will come back!
