The atmosphere is good and the service is good but the best thing is the food since the new chef is from Veracruz Mexico. In the taste of the food you can feel the most authentic flavor of the Mexican roots and we can see it with the roast beef tacos. which are made with handmade tortillas with a rating of 10 and the ranchero chicken which is a delight but the shrimp ceviche tostadas are perfect and also the freshly made guacamole for the same reason I recommend EL MAGUEY 100%...read full review
I was in Lexington for work, and my team suggested Ramsey. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend the Hot Chipotle Shrimp and Strawberry Margarita.

It was a great welcoming atmosphere and the food was good Very flavorful we did have to wait awhile for service I don't think they had too many servers that spoke english however we were entertained and included in on the event that was going on (karaoke and tequila shots ?) so we didn't mind the wait. I would definitely recommend this family style restaurant especially if you're on a budget
