The customer service was above and beyond, and so was the food/coffee! The guy who took our order was extremely patient and walked us through the menu and gave us a few different samples to try, all of which were wonderful. I ended up ordering the Northern Exposure sandwich, which I wasn't planning on ordering until I tried the sample cream cheese spread. I am so glad I ordered it, as it was absolutely amazing. My friend ordered the Maple Sin Amen spread on the French toast bagel and it was delicious as well. The team was extremely knowledgeable about all of the items and were able to give detailed recommendations to both me and my friend and each suggestion was spot on. The atmosphere is cozy and well thought out and was very lively, even into the afternoon. It was a wonderful place and I look forward to coming back soon.

I got the Kicking Chicken and my boyfriend got the Johnny Depp sandwiches. Both so good and massive for its price. The coffee was just coffee which is a small disappointment. I got the peppermint winter wonderland but there was not peppermint. But as far as basic coffee, it was good.

I ordered The Johnny Depp on an Everything bagel and it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned, fresh, and so satisfying. The coffee was excellent, smooth and full of flavor. Service was top-notch as well. The girl at the counter Liv, was friendly, attentive and made the experience feel genuine and welcoming. Overall, excellent food, excellent coffee, excellent service. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the Lexington area. Grounded All Day Cafe has definitely earned a spot on my favorites list.

I was unsure about what I wanted and Liv made sure to explain the menu and let me sample the spreads that are made in house. This I was very impressed to find out. Also the bagels are very fresh and a very good size. I am a black coffee girl and the Americano was very flavorful. Liv also told me that she could fill up my own coffee cup (this is a very big plus for me). Definitely will be a return customer!!!!

I spend a lot of time in coffee shops, and this is one of my favorites. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous and friendly, and the owner is gregarious and welcoming, making a connection with everyone who walks through the door. All of the food I have tried there has been very good, and I’m at especially fond of the bagels. I’ve never seen such a variety of spreads and cream cheeses to bring a bagel to life!
Some of my coffee hangouts I go to work, others to have meetings; It just depends on the vibe I’m looking for. Grounded has all of the vibes, and I’m equally at home working in solitude there or taking friends to hang out or having a professional meeting. It’s clean, attractive, and one of Lexington‘s best kept secrets.

There is not a single time I’ve visited that I haven’t been greeted with a smile.
