We had Gumbo ya-ya cater our son’s graduation party and it was fabulous!! We had multiple cajun options from the restaurant for guests to choose from and at the end of the night people had gone back for 3rd and 4th servings!! We were so pleased, the owners were amazing and made sure our special event was enjoyed by all. No one walked away hungry and everyone complimented us on the food!! We will definitely use them again. Thank you so much!!
Gumbo’s has consistently great food, and they’re always friendly and helpful. The portion sizes are always more than generous as well. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable. It’s my favorite go-to restaurant in Lexington.
Food was affordable, nice sized portions and friendly staff. We tried the gumbo, the jambalaya, and the voodoo red beans with cornbread. The food was not bad, but would suggest investing in some Cajun seasoning. Also, offer a way to heat up the cornbread and provide butter. It was however, one of the better meals I have had during my 5 week stay in Lexington! I would visit again!
