Brady made our lunchtime with friends extra special today. We’ve always loved this restaurant for many reasons but having him take care of us was an added bonus we won’t forget. We hope he stays on board so we can see him again when we return which will be soon! Thanks alot Brady 😋🙌

I got the steak Maui. I've had it at another J. Alexander and it was amazing. I ordered it here and the flavor was good but was very fatty. I also had to flag someone down to get a refill.
My husband took me there to celebrate a special occasion. His prime rib also had quite a bit of fat. Just not like the one I had previously and very disappointing.

We tried this restaurant for the first time in years. Everyone is given water on top of their drink choice. I prefer water in general so I didn’t get another drink. I am an ice fan but the given waters did not have ice, so they were closer to room temp. It was a group of 7 and the waitress initially mentioned someone would be helping her. No one else stopped by to assist during our time there. Our drinks went empty multiple times. Many in our table ordered a “side salad”. However, when received they were full salads that we were charged $14 for. They also messed up the salad for one in our group, so they had to remake it. I ordered the “Crispy Shrimp Tacos” special. Unfortunately, it had cilantro and tomatoes on it, which was not advertised on the menu, and I like neither. A manager did stop by to check on us at one point, which was appreciated. Overall, the value was not there. I would choose competitors 10 out of 10 times

I hate leaving bad reviews and it's rare I take the time to leave one but this place is not good.

We arrived for our reservation and got seated in a nice booth, we both commented on how dark the restaurant was. We got seated and we immediately noticed the dining area was ice cold.

Our food arrived and my steak was cold, but it was cooked medium rare as requested. My partner's veggie burger arrived and it was so salty it put us both off our food.

Overall it's very basic food at a very expensive price. Service was ok. The restaurant it self was ok but cold.

We won't be going back.

Excellent food and drink menu with consistent quality and options.

Service has been lacking on the past couple of visits, taking over 2 hours to complete dinner service with long waits between food and drink delivery and checking in on the table.

We were there to celebrate a birthday. Appetizers were good. We then waited an excessive amount of time for our food. Mix up of sorts. Some of our food wasn’t hot some was cool. Some sides were on wrong plates and some not there. The birthday carrot cake looked like a sheet cake and icing poured on it. We love the carrot cake but this was not it. We have always had a good experience here but not this time. They said it was a slow night so it seemed there was no excuse

Had heard good things about this restaurant, but we were really disappointed. The architecture is wonderful, but the food is so so and way too salty. We started with deviled eggs and they were good. My husband ordered the brined chicken. It arrived completely charcoal black, to the point that the waitress herself said it should not have been served. My husband sent it back and when the replacement came out, it was so salty, he could not eat it, and he loves chicken! I ordered a side salad, followed by the wild mushroom pizza. The side salad was enormous, with a too salty blue cheese dressing. The wild mushroom part of the pizza was good, but I don't like pizzas that are all dough and hardly any topping, which this was. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience, and will not be going back.

This was our first time to try this restaurant and it was superior. The food was delicious, the presentation was lovely, the service was attentive without being pushy, and we felt it was very reasonably priced for what we got. It was clear that management sees the fine details that get missed in so many similar venues, and we were both impressed. She had the crispy shrimp tacos and I had the French dip and both were equally appealing and tasty, and the serving sizes were more than ample. I will definitely order both of these again in the future. The bill, including tip, was $65.00 and, again, we felt that was fair for the quality and amount of food we were served.

This was okay. Service was good but the food wasn't up to par with the price point. The steak tasted like I could cook it at home and its was a bit tough. Over all it was a nice experience but the food just wasn't great and we spent well over a hundred dollars on it.

Our waiter started off great, very nice, but was always missing and for long periods of time. trying to leave and we were thinking of desert, he took so long to come back so we passed and just tried to get the check and leave. That took a long time. My wife said she spotted him goofing off back in the kitchen.

My wife and daughter got t-bones. My wifes mashed potatoes tasted like they were sitting on the stove or old. My filet mignon was good, but later I got horrible diarrhea, I can't say it was the food but I wasn't sick before I ate. That will be the last time we go to J Alexanders Lexington.
