A charming restaurant with so much character. Our food was delicious. Our service was good but not great. Our head server seemed overloaded and his assistant seemed tired.
Spencer and Jayden took EXCELLENT care of us. The service, food, drinks and ambience were all top notch. We love Jeff Ruby's Lexington!! Can't wait to go back again!
Wonderful evening as always at Jeff Ruby's. Celebrated our 55th anniversary here in Lexington. We've been patronizing J R for about 40 yrs in Cincinnati. But this was our 1st at this location. Superb service by John & his helper Chase. Felt very relaxed with them. Made you feel special. The Hatchet steak was delicious as was everything else. The gave us Carrot Cake for our anniversary & took a picture & gave it to us also. Great experience as always
Evening went nicely. Shelby was our server. She was very astute in our needs and very professional. Her assistants were the same. Valet parking was awesome. There were 4 of us and had 4 attendants opening doors. The evening was great being it was a birthday celebration.
25 minutes before server took order. Hair on a plate. New plastic bags for left over fell apart as soon as I touched it.
We celebrated a family gathering on Thursday night. The food was good and the wait staff was wonderful. We were a bit surprised by the greeting when we walked in as the team at the reception were rude and dismissive (smacking gum should be discouraged). We waited about 10 minutes for our reservation and then were led to a fun table. It also seemed odd to have $10 per car valet fee on top of tipping.

The service was very good, the staff was very attentive. The steak was not cooked to the specifications of the order. A new one was brought out cooked correctly but was over seasoned. The brussel sprout appetizer had very little flavor, more just burned taste. The oysters were good, but don't ask the guy who had one for the first time and was not a fan!
Celebrated my Birthday and had a fabulous time. Food was delicious and service was very attentive and welcoming. Taking a photo and presenting it at end was very thoughtful and special. Will definitely be back.
Our service from Quinn was outstanding, as was the food and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
The sushi was good the steaks were excellent cooked the way wanted and the sides of potatoes anna and Brussels sprouts were also good

Great evening in the patio. Food and drinks, great as always! The band, Paint Creek, fabulous!
Beautiful restaurant, but overall disappointing for the price. We spent about $235 per person and the service was slow, not very friendly, and never brought out bread even after we asked. Drinks weren’t refilled unless I flagged someone down.
I ordered the $115 Australian Wagyu strip, but it was chewy and not worth it at all. The sides were actually great, and the cake was good, but nothing amazing. For what I paid, I expected way more. Definitely not somewhere I’d return.
