Was looking forward to stopping here, based on previous reviews. Good parking, despite being in a congested area. Came here for the pizza, which was good but the star was the breadstick. Highly recommend getting both sauces as both were great. Had that; a Sicilian 2 item pizza and 2 drafts - only $23. My only hesitation is that I love a good crumbled Italian sausage with fennel. You get a too thin slice of sausage on every piece. I'm sure others like it, just not my thing. It's worth stopping, had great service as well

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is clean and Mr. Joe Bologna is awesome. Thank you for another amazing meal. Our server Madeline was the best!

WISH I COULD GIVE THIS 10 STARS IT WAS THAT GOOD One of my best Italian meals ever. Family of 4 had vegetable lasagna chicken fettuccine Alfredo and eggplant parmigiana. Truly excellent. The waitress suggested the veg lasagna and I was pleasantly surprised will get again. Awesome breadsticks with garlic butter sauce was just so yummy For dessert we shared home made canolli like my Italian grandma would make crisp not soggy. Enjoyed so much already planning a return

We went after moving in our daughter. The salad was good but the dressing was a tad greasy. The Margherita pizza was my fave but my husband and daughter liked the buffalo. The breadsticks were hot and fresh but light on the garlic. Over all delicious experience!

I've always loved Joe B's! The place is in a renovated synagogue and has the original stained glass. Many menu options and everything is really tasty.

Order the breadstick - get more than one! It’s delicious and the garlic butter...yUM! The pizza however (just ordered pepperoni) was just ok in my opinion. I regret not getting dessert ;)

Four friends and I came to visit Joe Bologna's because we were craving some exceptional pizzas; we selected it primarily because one of my friends remembered it fondly from several years ago.Tip: While the pizzas here are indeed exceptional, the standout dish they serve are their incredible bread sticks. They're over a foot long, and the taste is completely out of this World!Because everything looked and smelled so good, we ordered four pies to share - a meatball thin crust, the Hawaiian on Sicilian, a margarita with the regular crust, and a Sicilian pan. All the pies were great, but my personal favorite was the Sicilian pan :-)Joe Bologna's is actually situated inside a very "spritual" looking building; it was originally a Presbyterian Church and then a Jewish Synagogue. There's lots of free parking that's very close by; the service is good and the prices are very reasonable as well.Even with five people in our party, we had lots of leftover pizza, so I look forward to enjoying several carb-loaded breakfasts this week!

Listen. If you haven't had a Joe Bologna's breadstick, you are not living right. Tonight, my son (who's autistic by the way) tried his first one. Then, he met the man himself, Mr. Bologna. You would have thought he was meeting a superstar. Mr. Bologna, thank you for taking the time to create magic and make my little guy's day!!

Joe B's has the absolute best breadsticks in town. Ordered curbside during the shut down. It took almost 2 hours from the time i called to have food in hand..but i have to understand why. They were so short staffed. Understandable with the pandemic. I've always had friendly service and great food. Check Joe out!

Great service, good food proportions for the price. Joe himself made our canolis, (which are most definitely a must-have.)

Great atmosphere in an old church building turned into a pizza place. Great food and a unique experience. An absolute must for a visitor to Lexington, KY!

Very disappointed, normally a good experience, but this time food was left off my carry out order. After calling, and returning across town to pick up what was left off, they hadn’t even bothered to re-warm the food....I expected better.
