We had dinner here the first night we arrived. I realize CoVid has impacted all but was surprised and disappointed at the layout of the restaurant/bar. Service was superb. Drinks were stout and delicious. We had the special recipe stew (delicious!) and we shared a pulled pork sandwich which we split (superb!) and a Cobb salad which was fresh & delicious. Generous servings and really quick and wonderful service!
Service was great!! They remembered my drink order from the 1st night which shows attention to detail. Burger is good, Puffs are amazing. New concept will be incredible once completed.
I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. To start, the entire facility is being refurbished and everything is in disarray. There are currently only a handful of tables in the restaurant. The plans looks very exciting and I understand it should be open in a couple of months. Back to the food... The Hot Brown was excellent and the Berkshire Pork Chop was really good with apples, fingerling potatoes and a pickled cabbage dish. The menu is somewhat small, but everyone around...
