Every time I think the food wasn’t really as good as I remembered. And every time I’m wrong, it is that good. Order the cheese dip and you will not regret it!

The tacos are top notch with good ingredients, best Mexican food I've had in Lexington so far. Small cozy venue, in surprised there wasnt a long line out the door. I also had the margarita on the rocks, it was lovely with far more citrus than sweet, just how I like them. Three cheers for La Taquiza!

The food was delicious, especially the empanadas, salsa bar, and churros. Very accommodating of vegetarians and us having our toddler there! They were so sweet. Great music too! And very clean.

Every detail of this experience was amazing. Everything was seasoned well, the textures were perfect, it was super fast, the decorations are a vibe. I had the tamarindo agua fresca it was amazing. You can tell they are mindful of everything they prepare. This is such a unique authentic culinary experience. Highly recommend.

This is probably my 5th coming here now. But today I went to La Taquiza for lunch after work with some coworkers and it did not disappoint. I ordered the enchilada with both sauces and it came with rice and beans. We shared the cheese dip with chips which was really good. Their in house sauces are amazing and each one has its own level of spice. Everything we tried was on point and the service was both friendly and accommodating. Nothing short of to be expected. The atmosphere is also really fun with so much cool art decorating the space. Definitely a delicious and authentic Mexican restaurant I’d return again and again.

I came here for a lunch pick up order after getting some soil from Lowe’s. Figured I’d start off my gardening journey right with some good food.
La Taquiza is seriously one of my favorite spots for Mexican food. I’ve been there a few times now, and every visit has been a delicious experience. It’s like a little food festival in my mouth! I had the pork moei taco, taco azteca, empanadas, and lunch special tacos. everything was packed with flavor and so satisfying. I also love that they offer a variety of sauces to go with your meal. The prices are super reasonable, and even though I did takeout, the customer service was great. The location is small but bright and beautiful decor. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in town! The food is all so colorful & fresh, and I've yet to be disappointed by anything on the menu. I usually go with the nachos which are a fantastic value & hands down the best in Lex. Pair those with a couple of margaritas and you'll be in good shape! 💖

my drink was not filled up all the way on top like it should be for $5 . My burrito was about $9 and they gave me a skimpy burrito with hardly anything on it. This place is a rip off plus it’s not authentic food. . I do not recommend spending money here. On top of the that the food isn’t that good anyway . Staff isn’t friendly either. Waste of time and money coming here. I’ve gone to other actual authentic Mexican restaurants and they serve you what you pay plus more and service is always great . This place is a negative 10 for me.
